- Born the youngest of four siblings, Hector Machado began performing on stage in his native San Antonio, Texas. In his film and television journey he's worked opposite Woody Harrelson in The Duel, Joaquim de Almeida in Queen of the South and most recently with both LaKeith Stanfield and Marilu Henner in Haunted Mansion. He attended the 2011 Sundance Film Festival for his role in the feature All She Can, an official selection then known as Benavides Born.
Hector has trained with the fine folks at Stella Adler as well as various coaches in the Austin area. He originally received a Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Houston and is a registered Architect in the State of Texas.
His first language was Spanish as his mother was raised in Mexico, moving to the US in 1951. His father grew up on a ranch in nearby Elmendorf, Texas. His greatest treasures are his wife, a public schoolteacher and his daughter, a writer.- IMDb Mini Biography By: HM
