The Flash, as with the other Arrowverse shows, has had to take a month’s break due to the coronavirus pandemic affecting production. However, it will soon return to our screens for the 16th episode of season 6, titled “So Long and Goodnight.” As well as being the one to finally supply us with that Scarlet Speedster content we’ve been craving, the episode is also notable for featuring the return of two familiar characters.
As you can see in the promo images in the gallery below, both Sue Dearbon and Rag Doll will be back for the next installment of the show. Natalie Dreyfuss’ Sue was first introduced in episode 6×12 “A Girl Named Sue,” where she and Ralph quickly formed a bond – even though it turned out she had double-crossed him. No doubt sparks will fly when the pair reunite.

Ever since Hartley Sawyer’s Ralph Dibny debuted on The Flash back in season 4, fans knew he was destined to meet his wife and partner in crime-solving on the show at some point. Season 5 ended with a tease that the future Mrs. Dibny was on the way and now, after Ralph has spent all season looking for her as part of a missing person’s case, Sue Dearborn is making her debut, in the suitably-titled “A Girl Named Sue.”
Ahead of the episode’s arrival next week, you can now catch your first look at Natalie Dreyfuss as Sue in the gallery below. “A Girl Named Sue” will also introduce another key character, though. Namely, Eva McCulloch, the gender-flipped second Mirror Master, who was teased in the midseason premiere, as played by Efrat Dor. Hey, "The Flash" fans. In this new article, we have some bad news to run by you guys. It's that time of the year again where for some reason, The CW has randomly picked a night to not air the new episode of your favorite show. Tonight, November 12, 2019, is that night. They will not be airing the next, new episode 6 tonight. We're not sure why, but here's what we are sure about. The CW is scheduled to air the new episode 6 next Tuesday night, November 19, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars. Luckily, this delay is only for this particular week and not multiple weeks. So, what is The CW airing instead of the new episode 6 of The Flash? That's a very good question. According to the TV Guide listings, The CW will actually be airing an episode of The Flash.

Now that Barry Allen has begrudgingly accepted his fate in the upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event, we’re seeing him readying the rest of his team so that they may protect Central City in his stead. In tonight’s episode, Cisco Ramon will be asked to step up, with Ralph Dibny being next on deck.
Speaking of which, when The Flash returns with new episodes in two weeks (a rerun of “Into the Void” is set to air on November 12th), Ralph will share the spotlight with the Scarlet Speedster in “License to Elongate,” which I guarantee isn’t also the title of an adult movie…at least, I don’t think so.
Now, what’s so cool about this adventure is that both Ralph and Barry are rocking stylish tuxedos, and are obviously paying tribute to James Bond. This makes me recall them shooting bad guys with...

Now that the sixth season of The Flash is finally underway, we can get back to our weekly routine of spending quality time with the likes of Barry Allen, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and whatever version of Harrison Wells the multiverse throws our way. Hey, this week’s premiere may not have been as strong as the previous year’s, but I’d say this season is still off to a very strong start.
And much like you’d expect them to, the network has been pumping out preview images well in advance of each episode’s respective air dates. Already, we’ve gotten a glimpse at Jay Garrick’s return in 6×02, and now we get to see what 6×03 has in store.
In this case, the ominously titled “Dead Man Running” is being put under the microscope. If anything alarming does happen, we’re not getting much hint of it here.

In just a matter of hours from the time of this writing, The Flash will have returned for its highly anticipated sixth season. When you stop to think about it, time has really flown by, as it seems like just yesterday this show kicked off. But even with a handful of years behind it, this fan favorite displays no signs of slowing down.
Now, as we join Barry Allen on the next leg in his incredible journey, it’ll quickly become apparent that Oliver Queen isn’t the only one having to deal with a lot heading into “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” With the timeline having been accelerated, the Scarlet Speedster is being forced to come to grips with the fact that he’ll vanish before long.
That said, it’s difficult not finding the official synopsis for “Dead Man Running” to be the slightest bit foreboding. Here, check it...

When we first learned that Cicada would serve as The Flash season 5’s big bad, I doubt any of us thought that his true identity would differ from the source material – or that his niece would travel back from the future, murder him, and take up his mantle. But I guess that’s what happens when everybody enjoys screwing with the timeline.
Of course, the show has a lot more going for it right now, so maybe that’s why it appears the final showdown with Cicada II will take place during this season’s penultimate episode. Don’t forget, the synopsis for the finale hints at the Reverse-Flash taking center stage.
Strangely enough, the villain herself doesn’t actually appear in the promo photos circulating ahead of next week’s adventure, but there are still enough there to tide us over. As you browse the gallery, you’ll find...

Now that a time traveling adult Grace Gibbons has taken over as big bad on The Flash, I’m oddly thrilled to learn she’s being referred to as what I’d been calling her following the big reveal, that being “Cicada II.” Hey, it’s obvious but it works.
For the time being, it appears as though Cicada II has been put on the back burner so that the situation involving Nora West-Allen and Eobard Thawne be fully explored – not to mention the return of the Icicle coming tomorrow night – but we can expect for Grace to resurface in season 5’s penultimate episode at the very latest. Suffice it to say, this has been confirmed by the official synopsis:
Cicada II Makes Her Move – Team Flash is on high alert after Cicada II (guest star Sarah Carter) threatens to unleash a dangerous virus that would put all meta-humans at risk.

Last season on The Flash, we were introduced to the concept of “Flash Time,” which basically allowed for Barry Allen to accomplish tasks at ridiculous speeds unbeknownst to those around him. Somehow, he was able to pull others into this pocket of sorts for brief periods, though I remain baffled how someone can stand still really fast. Hey, go back to the relevant adventures and then try to tell me everyone was in constant motion.
Minor grips aside, the network has devised a creative way to promote tomorrow night’s episode, “All Doll’d Up,” ahead of its debut by releasing a trailer presented in “Flash Time.” Seen at the top, it’s not slowed down in the way we’d grown accustomed, but rather, extremely sped up.

Right now, I’m willing to once again state that The Flash‘s fifth season has been consistently impressive. That said, I’ll ask you to recall the earlier episodes making up the previous season.
So, while we wait for the Star Labs squad to uncover Cicada’s secrets, we’ll turn our attention toward another new threat arriving in Central City, that being Rag Doll. Originally imagined as a nemesis for Jay Garrick, it’ll obviously be Barry Allen who’ll have to square off against this guy in the live action realm. And though Rag Doll’s been around since the Golden Age, he hasn’t received too much exposure outside of the comics – barring the animated series The Batman,...

Specifically, it’ll be Barry Allen and his wife Iris’ problem, as the Scarlet Speedster gets his other half involved to take her mind off a terrible revelation. Here’s what the synopsis teases:

He’s been rocking a pretty ugly light blue spandex suit for most of the season so far, but it’s finally time for Ralph Dibny to get a proper superhero outfit in next week’s episode of The Flash.
DC comics fans will know that Ralph typically wears a purple, black and white skin-tight outfit on the page and, while that look hasn’t been recreated on screen, Dibny’s new duds – seen in the gallery below – evoke the character’s classic look as best as they can while still fitting in with the overall Arrowverse aesthetic. For instance, the purple has been switched for a more muted maroon colour scheme and the addition of the goggles are a nice touch, as a way for Ralph to keep his identity a secret.

In the view of myself and a fair amount of fans, The Flash season 4 has thus far proven to be a mixed bag. For the first six episodes, the producers tried so hard to stray from the darkness of season 3 that they made pretty much every line of dialogue a quip, effectively reducing the show to a farce in short order.
But, with episode 4×07, we saw a turnaround of sorts, as the magic of seasons 1 and 2 was seemingly being recaptured. To be honest, we owe much of our gratitude to the Thinker and all the riveting storytelling and shocking plot twists he’s brought along with him. As someone who’s enjoyed watching The Flash since the pilot episode aired three years ago, it’s very hard to overlook the fact that season 4 has gotten off to a pretty rough start. After witnessing the seriousness of season 3 – a season that I actually liked, by the way – it seems like the solution the powers-that-be arrived at was to go so far in the opposite direction that they turned the show into a flat-out comedy. Really, I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if slide whistles and “boing” noises were to be added in post-production for upcoming episodes.
Still, there has been some hope given, and that’s come in the form of this year’s big bad, the Thinker. Granted, there’s been much mystery surrounding him and his screentime thus far has been kept to a minimum, but the guy’s appearance is downright frightening, as...

Director: Jordan Barker. Writers: Michael Foster and Thomas Pound. Cast: Peter DaCunha, Katharine Isabelle and Stephen McHattie. Torment is a film from production company Filmax International. This Spanish company shot and developed this slasher film in 2013. Shot in Canada, Torment is from a fairly new writing crew: Michael Foster and Thomas Pound. Also, this viewer knows director Jordan Barker from his work on the 2006 supernatural thriller The Marsh. And, both The Marsh and Torment are lackluster film events. Torment is overly dark through several scenes. As well, the killers in the film are underdeveloped and uninteresting to follow. Torment is one slasher film that does not stand-out in this crowded sub-genre. The story for Torment, such that it is, begins with the Morgan family. Liam (Peter DaCunha) and Sarah (Katharine Isabelle) are newlyweds and they decide to take their son and step-son out to the woods, for a nice retreat.

It was only a matter of time before Disney jumped into the horror game – Ok, kidding. No, that’s not a deformed Mickey Mouse standing in the fires of Hell, but instead one of the masked menaces found in Jordan Barker’s Torment. Blending elements of “torture porn” and slasher mainstays, this should-be nightmare does little to separate itself from the pack besides decapitating some larger-than-life stuffed animals so that the film’s villains can wear unique masks. All the major influences can be felt, from The Strangers to You’re Next, but writers Thomas Pound and Michael Foster fail to strike their own unique brand of Canadian terror. Maybe our neighbors to the North haven’t been overexposed to every genre trope in horror’s unwritten rulebook, but such normalcy doesn’t cut it around these parts without embellishments or aiding characteristics – especially when a script glosses over the most interesting dynamics available.
