DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will not return for an eighth season.
It marks the end of a long road for the series, which premiered in 2016.
While The CW is known for giving its longer-running series a proper goodbye, this season of Legends ended on a cliffhanger. Sources, however, pointed out that the characters can easily populate other series in the DC Arrowverse so you may see one or two of them in other shows.

Matt Ryan, who has played John Constantine on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow since Season 3, will be wrapping up his arc as the DC antihero in the current sixth season, but Ryan is not going anywhere.
At the show’s Comic-Con@Home panel Sunday, executive producer/co-showrunner Phil Klemmer revealed that Ryan will be back as a series regular in Season 7 as a new character, Dr. Gwyn Davies, an eccentric scientist from the early 20th century who might be the team’s only hope next season.
Also in season 7, series regular voiceover cast member Amy Louise Pemberton, who has voiced Gideon, the Waverider’s AI, for all six seasons and has appeared as the AI’s physical form a handful of times, will now portray a flesh-and-blood version of Gideon in the real world, also as a series regular.

Chicago P.D.’s Lisseth Chavez is set as a new series regular in the upcoming sixth season of season 6 of the CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The Warner Bros. TV-produced superhero drama moved in to cast Chavez shortly after she became available following a season-long stint as a series regular on NBC’s Chicago P.D.
Chavez will play Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz. Tough and self-sufficient, Spooner Cruz lives off the grid, devising ingenious tech for the detection of — and defense against — space aliens. And while some might call her paranoid, she calls it being prepared. A survivor of a childhood alien encounter, Spooner now believes she has the ability to communicate telepathically with aliens — making her the perfect recruit for Waverider captains Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan) and the Legends who, in season six, will be hunting down extraterrestrials who have been displaced throughout history.

Speed and star-power: Those are the two clear goals for the DC Fandome virtual event on Aug. 22, which released its full schedule Friday.
Over 100 hours of content stretching across the film, TV and comic book properties from DC Entertainment will unfold over a 24-hour period on the Saturday event, including panels featuring the filmmakers and casts of “The Batman,” “Wonder Woman 1984,” “The Suicide Squad” and the Snyder Cut of “Justice League,” and the casts of TV series including “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Batwoman,” “Black Lightning” and “The Flash.”
Most of those panels, however, will run just 15 to 30 minutes in length. The panel for the upcoming feature film version of “The Flash,” with filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti, star Ezra Miller, and screenwriter Christina Hodson, will clock in at a speedy 10 minutes. (The briefness of that panel could also be due to unresolved questions surrounding a video of Miller appearing...

But to the credit of Ray Palmer, he never really went to the dark side. Instead, he’s been possessed by Neron in recent weeks and will soon unleash all kinds of hell.
From what we can gather, the demon who once used John Constantine’s ex-boyfriend as a vessel will now use his current meat suit to his advantage. Putting to use the notoriety and resources of Ray Palmer himself, Neron will soon roll out a new product – but potential consumers will really want to read those terms of service, hence the title of this season’s penultimate episode.
Had those folks read the fine print, then they’d know they’re willingly surrendering their souls to Neron. In fact,...

Even though I went into Legends of Tomorrow‘s midseason premiere with some skepticism because it was set to focus heavily on the romance involving Mona and her wolf-like boyfriend, I found myself walking away from it impressed. If anything, last night’s episode served up the right balance of humor and adventurism that’s made the show all the more enjoyable since its third season.
From the look of it, Mona will become a heavy presence in the series going forward – especially since she’s now of the lycanthropic persuasion herself. Whether or not her dual lifestyle proves permanent, expect to see more of Mona during April 15th’s episode, “Seance and Sensibility.”
Thanks to the freshly released gallery below, we’re granted new looks at various members of the cast, including favorites like John Constantine and Mick Rory. And from what we can tell, the female heroes of...

If you’ve been keeping up with the current season of Legends of Tomorrow, then you’ve no doubt been witness to the Waverider crew doing battle with threats much different from those prior. Before, they had to deal with the likes of Vandal Savage and the Legion of Doom, but Mallus opened the door for a carnivorous unicorn, a fairy godmother and, more recently, a Minotaur.
Well, if you thought any of the Time Fugitives which I just fired off were strange, then get ready for a whole new level of weirdness next week when it appears that Sara Lance, John Constantine and the rest of the gang will be forced to deal with killer dolls. Being a lover of horror movies myself, it’s pretty difficult not recalling classics such as Puppet Master and Child’s Play after seeing the latest round of promotional images, though the former...

In the past few years, Legends of Tomorrow has played host to a variety of cameos made by historical figures. For better or worse, the likes of Albert Einstein, Elvis Presley and even a young Barack Obama have each crossed paths with the Waverider crew at some point. Heck, last night’s episode, “Tender is the Nate,” featured guest appearances from Salvador Dali and Ernest Hemingway.
But, depending on whom you may ask, the next guy to be added to the pantheon could top them all. As it turns out, the official Twitter account belonging to the LoT Writers Room just sent out this little nugget:
“So…let’s talk Ep 407 for a minute. Or an hour. Because there is a surprise appearance made by the one and only @peeweeherman!!!”

Sure, we may have been forced to witness Elvis Presley busting ghosts by using the dulcet tones emanating from his guitar as a weapon on last night’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow (yep, it actually happened), but on the plus side, the Death Totem is now in play. As such, we can expect for it to heavily factor into next week’s offering.
Sure, the cleverly titled “Necromancing the Stone” already had a lot going for it, what with it featuring yet another guest appearance by Matt Ryan’s John Constantine, but factoring in the aforementioned Death Totem slides another major piece of the puzzle into place. After all, it means that the Waverider crew are one step closer to taking down Mallus.
But before that can happen, expect for it to corrupt Sara Lance – at least temporarily – just as Constantine foretold. And thanks to a freshly released promo video and some complementing images,...

Now that Kid Flash has officially joined the Waverider crew, we can begin looking forward to John Constantine’s next appearance on Legends of Tomorrow. Actually, we do know that the beloved demonologist is confirmed for the season finale that’s set to air next month, but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.
So, for now, let’s focus on the cleverly titled “Necromancing the Stone,” shall we?
In the the episode set to air on March 19, John returns to assist in what we assume to be the matter of Mallus’ influence once again hovering over Sara Lance. Oddly enough, the synopsis released by the network was bereft of any mention of Constantine himself, but it’s all simple enough to piece together given his recent history with the White Canary, and the fact that his portentous warning is already becoming a reality.

For several weeks now, we’ve known that John Constantine will be making yet another appearance on Legends of Tomorrow. I mean, not only was it thrilling to know that we’d be getting to see more of the character, but it also makes sense that he recur because the team are currently dealing with a supernatural villain in the form of Mallus. Granted, it all hinged on the availability of actor Matt Ryan, but we’re glad that everything worked out.
Previously, not much had been known about what that particular episode will have to offer, but a freshly surfaced synopsis for the cleverly titled “Necromancing the Stone” helps clear up things:
The Power Within — When Mallus’ power over Sara (Caity Lotz) resurfaces, she unwittingly becomes the bearer of one of the Totems. Rory (Dominic Purcell) must conquer his dark side in order to wield his own Totem power to help save the crew.

Just yesterday, we were speculating on whether a return to be made by Jonah Hex was imminent on Legends of Tomorrow. After all, the cast could be seen clad in attire they’d normally don when venturing back to the Wild West in some new images, thus throwing much fuel on the fire.
Well, as it turns out, we were right because ComicBook.com has confirmed that Johnathon Schaech’s Hex will indeed return for the season finale, set to air on April 9. Right now, it’s unknown as to what specific role he’ll play – or how big – or why what we’ll assume will be the final showdown with Mallus will take place in his time period.

After bearing witness to a memorable visit made to the Waverider by one John Constantine, the time has come to begin looking forward to whatever Legends of Tomorrow may bring us next. Now, you may be thinking we’re about to discuss next week’s episode that’ll see the team get stuck in a time loop Groundhog Day-style, but, believe it or not, we’re actually going to talk about what’s to follow.
As you may recall, this past Monday night’s midseason premiere hinted that uniting six totems may very well be the key to stopping Mallus. So far, two of them are on board the Waverider, safely in the possession of Vixen and Zari, but another, the Water Totem, is currently held by Kuasa. Not only have the crew of the Waverider had to deal with displaced anachronisms for the past few weeks, but they’ve had to do it without the aid of their former captain, Rip Hunter.
Obviously, that void has been filled by Sara Lance/the White Canary just as it was for a good portion of season 2, but there’s been a twist of sorts that’s come in the form of Rip actually working against his former teammates. You see, it became hard for him to ignore their previous mistakes, thus prompting him to form the Time Bureau.

Though the summer hiatus felt like an eternity, we can now breathe easier with the fall season of DC TV being back in full swing. Not only that, but synopses for episodes set to air during week 5 have now surfaced online, including those for Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow.

Sure, actor Arthur Darvill may no longer be a series regular, but he’s still playing a big part in the grand scheme now that he’s formed the Time Bureau. Thus, we’re guessing this fateful meeting has everything to do with the episode being titled “Return of the Mack,” and not Rip recording a hip-hop album.

Truth be told, fans may be getting even antsier when it comes to seeing the Waverider crew returning more than others when you consider that their second season concluded in early April as opposed to late May.
As it turns out, they’ll be shooting the second episode first, believe it or not. Directed by Kevin Tancharoen and written by stalwart scribes Keto Shimizu and Grainne Godfree, “Freakshow” sounds like our heroes will be getting back to business as usual, with the whole dino crisis already being behind them after the premiere, just as we predicted.
Now, shooting episodes out of order doesn’t happen all the time in the world of television, but it’s not exactly unheard of.

This one in particular is especially visually impressive because it sees an also returning King Shark confronting the Scarlet Speedster and Leonard Snart, with some gorgeous rain effects thrown in. Personally, I find this to be more aesthetically appealing than something with, say, Gorilla Grodd because I think King Shark just looks more realistic and polished when it comes to purely CGI characters to have appeared on the show.

Let's start with The Flash, as it clarifies a rumor about if Jesse Quick will be killed by Grodd's hands. If you really do not want to know, skip over the first part. I'll spread it out a bit so you can avoid it easier, but again, it's not really a spoiler anymore.

This week’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow featured some huge twists and turns as we learned that Eobard Thawne is on the run from Black Flash, a speedster tasked with tracking down those who abuse the Speed Force. In the Reverse-Flash’s case, he’s running from the fact that he was wiped from existence by his ancestor Eddie Thawne.
Things looked promising for the villainous Speedster and his Legion of Doom though when he managed to restore Rip Hunter’s memories. However, he managed to make some changes to those in order to make the time traveller quite a bit more evil than his old self. Now, he’s invading the American Revolutionary War at the behest of the Legion.

Ahead of next week’s midseason premiere of The Flash, The CW has released a new clip from the episode. As you can see, it starts with the team celebrating Wally West’s successful takedown of the villainous Plunder, but Barry Allen doesn’t seem too pleased with his sidekick’s actions.
That’s because when he made his first trip to the future and witnessed the murder of Iris West at the hands of Savitar, he also saw a news report about Plunder’s trial. Aside from having the opportunity to join Batman in a sure to be epic comic book team-up this spring, the immediate future for The Flash looks to be every bit as intense as it is exciting. Thanks to this newly released extended promo, counting down the seven remaining days until the midseason premiere, “Borrowing Problems from the Future,” just got even harder.
While we await the return of Rick Cosnett, we’ll turn out attention to Barry Allen attempting to avert the brutal murder of his beloved Iris West at the hands of Savitar that’s set to occur several months in the future. I think Barry’s obsession with changing the past has now been eclipsed by his desire to shape the future, which may very well be the moral of season 3. In other words, so many of us may focus on our past, which we have no ability to change,...

When we last saw the Fastest Man Alive in The Flash, he had vowed to save Iris West’s life after an accidental trip forward in time led to him witnessing the murder of his girlfriend at the hands of Savitar. However, what you may not have noticed is the fact that a news report was playing in the background about a villain called Plunder being sentenced to prison.
It also revealed that he was caught by the Flash, so when he appears in Central City in the midseason premiere, Barry Allen has second thoughts about stopping him in the hope of proving that the future can be changed. A bad guy like that can’t be left to run rampant, though, hence why Wally West’s Kid-Flash is going to have to step up in his place to take him down.

The CW has released the first promo for next week’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and in it we see what happens when the team arrives in the 1980s. Rory doesn’t seem overly keen on being there, but he’ll need to get used to it pretty fast with Damien Darhk now in a position of power in the White House. Of course, the Legends will have some back up in the form of Obsidian, a hero we met a younger version of back in the “Justice Society of America” episode.
Darhk was the big bad of Arrow‘s fourth season, and while he somewhat underwhelmed there, he’s so far been way more impressive as an ally of the Reverse-Flash. That character’s plan has yet to be revealed, though we’ve known for a while now that he’ll ultimately end up assembling the Legion of...
