Well, this is awkward!
On Friday’s all-new episode of Kendra on Top, Kendra Wilkinson Baskett receives a very unexpected knock on her penthouse door from her mother, Patti, who arrives a week early.
“What are you doing here?” a very surprised Kendra, 32, asks her mother in a People exclusive sneak peek.
“What do you mean what am I doing here?” Patti responds.
“What are you doing here?” Kendra presses. “I thought you were coming next week.”

Let's see. From Finn and Rachel we got lip service. Brittany and Santana, disservice. And with Kurt and Blaine, a little bit of last-minute fanservice.
I'm kind of despondent right now, so I'm half-tempted to just send in that paragraph as my recap, but I haven't been abducted by a cab driver hearing voices like I was three weeks ago, or trapped in a hotel room in Laramie, Wyoming like I was two weeks ago. So I'm gonna have to overcome my sadness at the end of Season Two, and the lack of focus on the storylines that touch my heart the most, and recap this sucker.
The night got off to a bad start when American Idol stole the usual Glee time slot for its vapid finale. But by the time Glee rolled around an hour later, I was really excited. And I had sworn I wasn't going to...

Bored yet? Me too. Results shows can go one of two ways. This was the boring route. (Although I have to give credit for using Beethoven at the beginning of the show.) And at least they aren't reinstating the awkward call in questions from season seven (I hope.)
So instead of doing a blow by blow recount, I'll give highlights of the non-results, opinions on the singing, and a list of who is in at the very end.
We found out that everyone loves each other, according to Stefano, and it sucks to say goodbye. We had a video package on how Idol has changed their life. (And Clint showed off yet Another pair of glasses.

What Thursday night’s American Idol telecast lacked in suspense, it more than made up for in terms of surprise.
Ryan Seacrest pulled a Gwyneth Paltrow and went all Country Strong on us, but not before getting lifted like a set of Jersey Shore dumbbells by male and female contestants alike. Rachel Zevita opened up a commanding lead in the Season 10 Millinery Race. A pissed-off rocker chick took home the prize for Most Endearing Contestant (I kid you not!) by candidly flipping off the Idol cameras. And Sam Cooke’s classic civil-rights anthem “A Change Is Gonna Come” underwent radical...

Call off the search dogs. Lower our security threat level back down to chartreuse. Our long national nightmare of not knowing the full Top 24 on "American Idol X" finally ended Thursday night (February 24), as Seacrest & Co. spent 14 hours reading 19 names. (Apparently "Idol" was just getting us in the mood for Sunday night's Oscar telecast.)
When the dust finally settled and the also-rans were told to mind the gap as they boarded the "Idol" Obscurity Train (Erin Kelly, Tiwan Strong, Brittany Mazur and Jimmie Allen, meet your conductors Vanessa Wolfe, Erskine Walcott and Hadas), "Idol" fans were left with a promising batch of 24 hungry young singers. And in an "AI" first, all 24 semi-finalists were profiled over the course of the two "big reveal" episodes. (Although, how could they not be in three hours of televison?!)

The picking out of semifinalists on American Idol has to be the most agonizing episode to watch. On one hand, I want to see everyone's reaction. On the other, did we really need to take two hours to tell people yes and no?
Every year, it seems the producers try to outdo themselves in making the contestants travel to and from their final judgment. It's gone from a room, to a mansion, and this year is in the nicest looking airplane hangar I've ever seen. (I'm a military brat, so I've seen quite a few.) What's next year going to be? Will the contestants have to take a small boat to a remote island?
This is a fairly straight-forward episode, so I'm going to go down the line, just as Idol did. (Although I promise to try and keep my word count down.)

After revealing the first five of the Top 24 on "American Idol" Wednesday night, we get the rest on Thursday night (Feb. 24):
Naima Adedapo, Haley Reinhart, Clint Jun Gamboa, Paul McDonald, Ashthon Jones, Karen Rodriguez, Robbie Rosen, Julie Zorrilla, Tim Halperin, Scotty McCreery, Tatynisa Wilson, Jovany Barreto, Lauren Turner, Rachel Zevita, Kendra Chantelle, Jordan Dorsey, Lauren Alaina, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Pia Toscano, James Durbin, Casey Abrams, Thia Megia and Brett Loewenstern.
But how did we get there?
Like a true professional, J.Lo pulls it together from last night's meltdown to tell MySpace Karen Rodriguez her fate. Karen isn't from any place in the world, just Fyi. She's a computer being from the land of MySpace. At her last performance, Karen does a Selena song in her beautiful alto voice and J.Lo mouths the words, it's a Very Special Moment and Karen gets through.

Although she may have been photoshopped for recent magazine spreads, here’s the proof that Kendra looks absolutely fabulous — her very own vacation shots!
Wow! Kendra Wilkinson really Does look incredible after giving birth to son Hank Baskett IV just eight months ago! Just check out this untouched photo of the reality star on vacation with her Bff Brittany and you’ll see what we mean!

Although Kendra hasn’t been confident about her post-baby body – she even went fully clothed to a July pool party – she’s clearly loving herself again!
She also clearly loves her hubby, NFL star Hank Baskett, who sent her on her empowering vacation to Miami. ”Hank being the amazing husband that he is sent me, Eddie and Brittany on a mini-vacation to Miami for a few days!

Plus E! crowns the last "real man" in Hollywood, Male Bonding takes a surprising turn, and we take a peek behind-the-scenes at Ronnie Kroell's shoot for Playgirl.
Michael Patrick King wants to know if a straight man will ever admit to loving Sex and the City, or will they always blame their viewing on an accident? And what’s up with the shoes? Is that all they notice, seriously? What about Samantha always having her legs in the air? Why isn’t that what they focus on?
Voters at E! say that the last real man in Hollywood is Johnny Depp, according to a poll on The Awful Truth. I’ve got nothing against Mr. Depp, who hasn’t really aged much since he was an adult playing a cop playing a high school student, but I don’t find him supremely manly, and he lives in France – recount?

I had a few concerns following last week's episode. "Throwdown" blew any doubts I may have had out of the water. In my opinion (the only one that counts since I write the recaps), this was the strongest episode so far. It was well-written, well-plotted, well-acted, and had a great balance of music to story.
The episode starts out with Will and Sue screaming at each other in the auditorium. They scene is filmed in slow motion while they voiceover narration. Sue: "Look at me. I'm elegant even in battle." Will tells us that they've been at each other's throats since a few days before when they met with Figgins for a progress report on their co-chair arrangement. Will is trying to curry favor, but Sue is taking a different tack. She is trying to pit them against each other in an effort to create such a toxic environment that they want to quit.

Word on the street is that two people are going to come to actual blows in this episode of Glee, which will be airing on October 14. Can you guess who it will be from the synopsis below? (Hint: it's not hard, it's right there in the title line). You can also view some promo photos from the episode.

I guess I wasn't so rusty after all, because I'm back with another recap — this time for my favorite new show this fall: Glee. The fourth episode starts off with Kurt, Brittany, and Tina reenacting Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video. I hope you're not as sick of this song as I am because we're going to be hearing it a lot throughout this episode.
Still, I have to admit that Chris Colfer sounds so amazing on this song I thought it was actually B singing at first.
Halfway through the number, Kanye West interrupts to say that his version was good but Beyonce's was the best version ever. Not really. It's actually Kurt's dad, played by Mike O'Malley of Yes Dear fame. Some of the best lines in this show are the more subtle ones. Like when Kurt exclaims that his dad is home early, and dad replies, "Deadliest Catch is on.

Yesterday, Kendra and her bridesmaids headed for Face to Face salon where they did some tanning and got manicures, pedicures, facials and massages. Bridesmaid Brittany Binger said she's worried about fitting into her dress after all the desserts and champagne...but not enough to skip the sweets. "We're all just eating.
