Chessica Moon began acting and modeling at the age of three while
living in Los Angeles, California. She was encourage by her paternal
grandmother, Lynn Moon who was a professional makeup artist for Max
Factor. After her family moved back to Texas, she continued with her
acting while attending high school in Pottsboro, Texas. At PHS and
under the direction of Jan Stewart, she received the Theatre Arts Award
and several awards from the Texas U.I.L. division for acting. She
continued her drama education at Grayson College where she studied
under the direction of Robert V. Farrer. While at GC, she won the
T.J.C.T.A. Award for Excellent in Acting for her performance as Elma
Duckworth in 'Bus Stop'. She was also one of the leading actors in the
production of 'Throckmorton, Texas' which was Guest Directed by G.W.
Bailey of TNT's, 'The Closer'. She has starred in several production at
Finley Playhouse, ranging from leading roles of Suzy Hendricks in 'Wait
Until Dark' to Annelle in 'Steel Magnolias'.
Chessica is also very active with the Texas film festival circuit. She is the Red Carpet Coordinator for the Dallas International Film Festival (formaly known as AFI Dallas International Film Festival)and the Press Associate for the Lone Star Internation Film Festival, both under the direction of John Wildman.
