Three of the biggest franchises of all time are Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Star Wars, and besides having made a lot of money and having huge fandoms, they also all have terrible prequel franchises in common.

The homeless Pennsylvania veteran who received hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations after a caring stranger began a GoFundMe for him is vowing to give it some of it away to help others in need.
Johnny Bobbitt Jr., 34, received more than $360,000 after Kate McClure – a stranger he gave his last $20 to in order to get her home after she ran out of gas – raised money for him as a thank you.
