Ok, here’s the really surprising thing: Aliens In The Attic isn’t entirely awful.
Since it didn’t press screen in New York (always an omen suggesting someone at the studio has perceived quality control issues), I rushed to the very first theatrical unspooling at 10:30 a.m. Friday on 42nd Street and paid my money to be among the first in my neighborhood to see today’s Sf comedy. It was a little too early for hot buttered popcorn but the air conditioning was nice. The seat was comfy. There was a good amount of legroom. And then the movie.
Briefly, four aliens not from this Earth have landed—on the roof and then into the attic of a summer rental mansion—as vanguard to a massive force from the planet Zirconia (or was it Zirconium, I’m confused) that will be invading by the picture’s end.

This evening I’ve been handed a brand new clip from the 20th Century Fox family comedy Aliens in the Attic and I’m not sure if it’s my childish sense of humour or not, but it’s had me in stitches!
In the film, which was previously know as “They Came From Upstairs”, Kids on a family vacation must fight off an attack by knee-high alien invaders with world-destroying ambitions — while the youngsters’ parents remain clueless about the battle. The film stars Robert Hoffman, Ashley Tisdale, Carter Jenkins, Henri Young, Regan Young, and Austin Butler and invades UK theatres on 7th August 2009.
The clip features Nana (Doris Roberts - “Everybody Loves Raymond”) under the influence of alien mind-control technology. The result is that Nana becomes a fighting machine who could give Bruce Lee a run for his money, and it’s definitely worth a watch! Check it out...
