Many fans and critics agree that Resident Evil 4 Remake is a nearly perfect game. The remake improves the original’s controls and mechanics, and, unlike its enjoyably campy source material, Resident Evil 4 Remake is also pretty scary. However, some gamers are displeased with one of the title’s voice actors, and they’ve decided to take it out on her in some despicable ways.
Small spoiler alert: Resident Evil 4 Remake still includes the Resident Evil franchise’s femme fatale of mystery Ada Wong. This time, though, she has traded in her cocktail dress for something more suited to sneaking around a village infested with parasite-infested zombies. Ada Wong is also played by another voice actress. Actually, not counting spin-offs and cameos, Ada Wong is on her fourth actress. Originally, Sally Cahill played Ada Wong, but Courtenay Taylor replaced her for Resident Evil 6. When Capcom remade Resident Evil 2,...

Going off of Steam numbers alone, it’s safe to say that Capcom has another sales hit on their hands with the Resident Evil 4 remake. How big you ask? Try over 3 million units in sales worldwide in the span of two days.
Capcom confirmed that in addition to the consistent high review scores on from various publications (including our own), and the praise and attention following the release of the Chainsaw Demo, the Resident Evil 4 remake has surpassed 3 million units in sales in just the first two days after its release.
To put this into perspective, Resident Evil Village eclipsed 3 million in sales across PC and consoles four days after its release back in 2021. Capcom’s previous dip into the remake pool with Resident Evil 3 only managed 2.7 million in sales in its first three months.

Mortal Kombat is one of the most iconic video games of all time. It has a lengthy, genre-defining legacy that’s withstood the test of time in several mediums. Actors Courtenay Taylor and Ron Yuan, who voice Kira and Sub-Zero, respectively, in the Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind animated film, understand this. Taylor (widely known for voicing Jack in Mass Effect and Ada Wong in Resident Evil) is no stranger to joining a well-respected franchise. The same goes for Yuan, who has been in a slew of television and film throughout the years and recently joined the Mk Universe in full as the new Scorpion in Mortal Kombat 11. In the video above, both cast members sat down with Emily Aslanian in the TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine New York Comic Con 2022 suite to talk about Snow Blind, what fans will love about it, and being huge fans of the franchise themselves,...

The wait is finally over. Project W, the newest Resident Evil crossover with Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight, arrives today for PC and consoles. Starting today, players can step into the Fog as Albert Wesker, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers, complete with a rework of the Raccoon City Police Department Map, and new outfits.
Players with the Killer mindset can choose to play as Albert Wesker, known in game as The Mastermind. Wesker uses the power of the Uroboros virus to take down survivors. Wesker’s Power, Virulent Bound, allows him to rush forward at an incredible speed, grabbing anyone that stands in his path and infect them with Uroboros. Players afflicted with the virus experience a penalty to their mobility, and are easier to pick up.
For the Survivors, players can choose from either Ada Wong or Rebecca Chambers. Ada’s survival skills make her a valuable ally in the fight…...

If you were wondering just when Project W would be hitting Dead by Daylight, you’re not the only one. This article contains spoilers for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City may not cleanly break the dreaded “video game movie curse,” but it is packed with Easter eggs and references that will surely please long-time Resident Evil fans who feel that some of the previous big-screen adaptations of this franchise strayed too far from the source material.
While Welcome to Raccoon City director Johannes Roberts previously talked to us about his desire to stay true to the games, it’s genuinely shocking to see all of the big and small ways that the movie borrows characters, moments, lines, and ideas directly from the games. While the film also makes some notable changes to Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2, it’s clear that far more attention was paid to honoring some of the most iconic elements of those legendary horror titles.

It seems like a happy ending: Chris, Claire, Jill, and Leon have all made it out of the Spencer Mansion just as it comes crashing down above them. A few miles away, the evil Umbrella Corporation has managed to contain the zombie outbreak, meaning today won’t be the end of the world.
But what about tomorrow? Well, that’ll be up to our heroes, who likely will have a thing or two to say after their nightmarish ordeal inside the secret Umbrella lab that infected the people of Raccoon City with the T-virus.
While it might be a little too early to think so far ahead, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City clearly has a plan in place for a potential sequel. In fact, it’s made abundantly clear where director Johannes Roberts and Sony Pictures want to go next in the movie’s post-credit scene, which longtime fans...

When the first "Resident Evil'' movie dropped in 2002, it spawned a highly profitable horror franchise centered around an original character named Alice (Milla Jovovich). Inspired by the iconic video game series of the same name, the "Resident Evil" films lived and died by Alice, relegating characters from the games like Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, Carlos Olivera, Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Barry Burton and antagonists Albert Wesker and James Marcus to second fiddle.

The reveal of Resident Evil Village‘s release date and gameplay brings us that much closer to another entry into one of the more complicated (and sometimes confusing) timelines in video game history.
Granted, the Resident Evil timeline doesn’t stray too far from the release order of the games themselves, but subtle shifts in the storyline created by the occasional odd entry mean that it’s easy to lose track of how we got here. That’s why we’re going to try to help chart the Resident Evil timeline as it stands today.
For the purposes of this discussion, please note that we’re only talking about the Resident Evil games and not the live-action or animated movies. Furthermore, we’ve included some spinoffs but are ignoring games that are either largely irrelevant to the timeline (such as Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D) or have been removed from...

Constantin’s big screen reboot of the Resident Evil film franchise appears to finally have a concrete release date.
According to folks over at Twisted Voxel, the live-action horror/thriller flick – which is said to more closely follow the source material compared with Paul W.S. Anderson’s adaptation – has been labelled by the aforementioned production company as hitting theaters on September 9th, 2021. The fall would certainly make sense considering the recent confirmation that filming has finally wrapped, though it would seem that all mention of the big day in question has since been removed. Indeed, a quick glance over the movie’s official page (the source provided by Voxel) on Constantin’s website yields no such information, suggesting that someone likely jumped the gun, so to speak.
It’s not exactly a conventional method of revealing an upcoming film’s release window, after all, and definitely unceremonious. Chances are, the...

Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield may be the central characters of Resident Evil 2, but the landmark survival horror title is just as noteworthy for its excellent supporting cast. The Birkin family, Marvin Branagh, Mr. X and Ada Wong are responsible for some of the game’s most memorable moments and it’s the latter of these colorful creations that modder Aydan Watkins has decided to have star in their latest piece of work: a standalone campaign dedicated to retelling the events leading up to Ada’s arrival in Raccoon City and her fateful encounter with Leon.
Originally created solely for Patreon members, Watkins has subsequently decided to make their effort more accessible by releasing Ada’s Story to the public. With the Resident Evil 3 remake out of the way, speculation is building about Resident Evil 8. Remember that Resident Evil Netflix series that was announced a year ago? After nothing in the way of updates, some details have finally emerged about what we can expect via a leaked pilot script written by Andrew Dabb, principally known for scripting several dozen episodes of Supernatural that widely vary in quality and include a number of the more comedic entries, and to be directed by Euros Lyn, helmer of a number of episodes of Doctor Who, the Torchwood miniseries “Children of Earth” and wonderfully creepy Welsh horror The Library Suicides.
The series is partially set in 2022 and follows half-sisters Jade and Billie Wesker, daughters of recurring villain Albert Wesker. Now that a fair amount of us have had time to sink our teeth into the Resident Evil 2 remake, odds are the veterans among the pack have been making comparisons to the 1998 original. Personally, I still prefer the PlayStation classic, though I absolutely love the recent re-imagining.
As such, I imagine longtime fans and newbies alike are eager to digest all manner of trivia, so it’s quite fortunate that Capcom has begun dropping developer commentary videos on YouTube. Basically, each feature key members of the team as they casually discuss putting the modern masterpiece together over dinner.
It could be argued that the second video is the juiciest of the bunch, as it details various concepts that didn’t make the cut. Here, you’ll learn about grotesque creatures called “the Condemned” who’d originally been intended for Sherry’s stroll through the Orphanage, see alternate attire for Mr.

Resident Evil 2 frequently scares the living daylights out of me. There are few sounds in modern games that send chills up my spine quicker than the *thud* *thud* *thud* of Mr. X’s hulking footsteps. But at least you can turn the console off and escape them, right? Wrong. As players of Tencent’s Pubg Mobile will know, the shambling undead, vicious lickers and even (if you’re very unlucky) the Tyrant have all been menacing folks in the special Survive Till Dawn mode.
The update launched back in mid-February and was warmly received by the fanbase, with players appreciating the effort that had gone into bringing the Resident Evil menagerie to Pubg. They also liked the exclusive loot you could earn as a reward for killing monsters – with the menacing Tyrant a particularly good source for top class goodies.

To its credit, the remake of Resident Evil 2 has managed to captivate the survival horror community in short order. Not only have fans cooked up their own mods and speedrunners have begun having a field day with the game, but there’s already the Ghost Survivors Dlc available for extra consumption.
At first, I’d assume that The Ghost Survivors would detail the experiences of the highlighted characters as they, too, attempted to survive untold terror in Raccoon City. Instead, each section turned out to be “what if?” scenarios that played out like a glorified Raid Mode. Actually, they were sort of more in line with “The 4th Survivor,” which you can play upon completion of the 2nd Run.
But if braving waves of enemies is right up your alley, then today’s discussion may interest you.

With 2016’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter finally closing the book on the surprisingly lengthy Paul W. S.
