Sondra Morton

With more than 25 years of professional theatre experience and more
than 70 shows ranging from NYC to California, her passion still lies
with teaching children the art of musical theatre. She is a graduate of
The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and received her BFA from the
New School - NYC.
She is the Theatre Arts Director and Co-Founder for the Act Too Players and has directed more than 60 children's productions at the Boiler Room Theatre. She has directed BRT's Mainstage productions of My Fair Lady, Damn Yankees,The Will Rogers Follies, The Fantasticks, Oliver, and Parade.
As a performer Sondra has been onstage as Toad in a Frog and Toad, Chick in Crimes of the Heart, Fanny Brice (Don't Rain on My Parade) in Funny Girl in Concert, and Agnes in I Do! I Do! In the past she has performed as Rita LaPorta in Lucky Stiff, Reverend Mother in Nunsense and Nuncrackers, Doris in A Bakers Wife, Mrs. White in Clue, Mindy in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, and many more. She has performed on many Nashville stages including the Boiler Room Theatre, Circle Players, Pull-Tight Theatre, Writer's Stage, Middle Tennessee State University (as Special Guest Artist). In New York she appeared on Maximillion Productions, Gallery Players, TheatreWorksUSA, Once Upon a Time, and Town Hall.
She is a resident of Franklin TN and is represented by Sharon Smith Talent
