He began working very young in front of the cameras as a cartoonist on the TV program "ESTA MAÑANA" (This Morning) on channel 13 of Mexican national TV. He also appeared as a cartoonist in the program "COTORREANDO LA NOTICIA" with Hector Lechuga and Chucho Salinas, on the same channel.
From there he became part of the Televisa production team, where he worked on advertising and promotion campaigns for Cablevisión channels. He made the first animations known worldwide made entirely with analog video equipment, to make animations for the first Spanish-language music video channel in the world. His character of "the old rocker" became very popular. He was also the creator of the first radio program dedicated entirely to rock/pop in Spanish called "ROCKOLÉ" on WFM. He carried out (directed, designed and produced) promotional and image campaigns for national TV channels such as Channel 5, Channel 4, Channel 9, using Quantel equipment such as the Paint-box or the Henry for the first time in Mexico (1987 - 1989).
He creates image and advertising campaigns, also for commercial brands such as Sprite. He directed numerous music video clips, among which is the first video made with the digital multi layer technique in Latin America. He also made TV shows. He worked on advertising campaigns and creating spots for various brands in the United States, winning several awards including an EFFIE. He worked on advertising campaigns in Spain, where he made 8 one-hour documentaries for the TV series "Color Tierra". He founded the production company EMBRUJO FILMS in Spain and Mexico, with which he made (wrote, produced and directed) his first feature-length documentary titled "EL ESPEJO DEL ARTE" premiered at the Cineteca Nacional in 2015, "EL ÚLTIMO TLATOANI" premiered at the Filmoteca UNAM in 2019, "LA FRONTERA DE LOS SUEÑOS" in 2021 and the fiction feature films "SOLO YO" and "DEATH OF GENDER".
In parallel, he has held photography exhibitions, and has published several books. He created the publishing house RUNNING WILD EDITIONS in 2023.
