His father, who deejayed at many Toronto house parties in the early seventies, always made Anthony a part of his musical endeavors, thus creating a strong basis for Anthony's love of music. Anthony said that one of his fondest memories of growing up around music was the Saturday morning trips to Toronto to the record shops with his father to scout out new music.
In December of 2006 Anthony going by his hip hop alias name MBEZ completed his first indie album entitled "1 Tha Hard Way" With the help of Chris Barbiero who he had met at work.
