Jimmy Sheirgill is readying for the release of his first ever horror film, A Flat. Though he has earlier been seen in Chodhon Naa Yaar (which again belonged to horror genre), he insists that A Flat is far more complete and is one movie which truly belongs to the horror genre. Malayalam movie Kandahaar, which stars megastars Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan, is now all set to hit the theaters on this December 9.
The shooting of the movie is almost complete and fans of Mohanlal will have big expectations from this movie for the presence of two big stars. Kandahaar was shot at a very rapid speed in various rare locations of Mumbai, Pune and Dehradoon. It completed shooting within only 28 days, which was a record itself. It is a low budget movie and is likely to be a speedy thriller.
Ganesh Venkatram will also be seen in an important role in this movie, which will be distributed by MaxLab to 100 screens.

Jimmy Shergill's upcoming release 'A Flat' is a horror flick and the actor was scared after he looked at one of the shots from the movie.While shooting for a spooky sequence for the film, he gave his shot and went to the monitor to check it. But he got scared after watching the scene as it was very scary.In the scene, Jimmy was looking at a book and Hazel, who plays a ghost, was standing behind him.'Hazel was looking so scary that when Jimmy saw the shot on the monitor he got very scared and jumped off his seat,' said a source.'Jimmy couldn't believe the shot could have been so scary as it didn't feel so while enacting that specific shot. After Taare Zameen Par, child artiste Darsheel Safary will be next seen in Priyadarshan directed Bum Bum Bole, which is an adaptation of the hit Iranian film 'Children of Heaven'. According to our sources, the latest addition to the starcast is Kaveri Jha, who was last seen in Hijack opposite Shiney Ahuja. Besides Darsheel and Kaveri, the film also stars Atul Kulkarni and Rituparna Sengupta. While Atul plays Darsheel's father and Rituparna plays his mother; Kaveri has been signed to play the role of Atul's sister. News has it that the film runs on two parallels, one that deals with Darsheel and his faith in God, while the second is about the relationship between Kaveri and Atul.
