Director: Andrei Borissov. Review: Adam Wing. Not to be confused with the epic grandeur of Mongol, Andrei Borissov presents us with another take on the Genghis Khan legend with his 2009 entry By The Will of Genghis Khan. Time for a little history lesson I guess. This is the story of Temüjin (Genghis Khan), the ruthless founder of the Mongol Empire. His name is well known worldwide, he even featured in a Bill & Ted movie, and his empire stretched from the yellow sea to the Mediterranean. This particular movie follows three childhood friends, one grew up to be a great shaman and the other two followed the destructive path to War - but only one of them was to be remembered on the big screen time and time again. Love for a women made Temüjin the warrior he’s best remembered as (doesn’t it always), and a quest for peace drove him to war.
