A Utah family got a whole new ‘leash’ on life when they discovered that their pet boxer whom they’d thought was dead was actually still alive.
The Coates family had made the difficult decision to have their dog Zoey, who had been suffering from seizures, euthanized after discovering a large mass on Zoey’s side, Ksl reported.
Six months later, the Coates’ learned the shocking revelation that their dog had never been euthanized, but was very much alive at a rescue home for boxers.
“I see the Boxer Town rescue page and I’m like, ‘That looks like my dog.

Four decades removed from the Tate murders, Charles Manson is one of those names that are entirely too capable of sending many a shiver down the spine. On tap right now we have the trailer for the latest film to explore his madness, Brandon Slagle's House of Manson. Check it out!
From the Press Release
House of Manson chronicles Charles Manson's life from childhood up until his arrest following the raid on Barker Ranch months after the infamous Tate/Labianca murders that sent a shockwave not just through Los Angeles but throughout the entire world.
The film was written and directed by Brandon Slagle, who was recently deemed the "go-to-gore-guy" by The Hollywood Reporter during their coverage of the European Film Market. While not a "gory" film, House of Manson is poised to take a more intense approach to the subject matter than previous film and TV iterations have.

Last year director Brandon Slagle’s The Black Dahlia Haunting became the indie horror sleeper hit of the year. Now he has come back with Dead Sea, a film that, despite its colorful poster design, is in many ways even darker and more brooding than its predecessor. Fans of The Back Dahlia Haunting will embrace this new film even more passionately, and it will be an even bigger hit. Dead Sea is a film that is sure to make waves, pun intended.
Dead Sea revolves around a small town with a big problem. The town is built around a salt-water lake, and every thirty years a Lovecraftian monster appears and feeds on the local inhabitants until they restore equilibrium by sacrificing one of their own.

A New poster and the first full trailer have been unveiled for Zeroinside Films' new sc-fi found footage project Area 51 Confidential.
The movie sees people from various walks of life held captive outside a secret government installation rumoured to contain extraterrestrial life. A teaser trailer was unveiled in May 2011.
The found footage subgenre - in which a movie is presented as an amateur video recording of actual events - has previously been thrust into the spotlight by such films as Paranormal Activity, Quarantine, Cloverfield and perhaps most famously by The Blair Witch Project.
This latest production is presented under the guise of a "military training video for new hires at the facility known as Area 51."
It follows the plight of a handful of individuals - a broadcast journalist, a documentarian, a teenage girl from Roswell, an army Colonel, and a man who had previously been thought "missing" for...

Joesph Guzman's 'Nude Nuns with Big Guns' sums up everything you need to know about the kick-ass movie with its simplistically awesome title. Yes that's right it'll hit shelves on Valentine's Day so if you're stuck for a prezzie to surprise your loved ones with then this may be your answer. Let's say you're a filmmaker. And let's say you make a film about a certain secret military base that happens to be in Nevada. What better place to premiere that movie than right up the road in Sin City? And that's exactly what the people behind Area 51 Confidential intend to do.
