Landed his first paid feature role as an actor for a Depaul University educational training video for eight hundred and seventy five dollars but decided not to do it when he received a phone call from Joan Philo while he was working on the set of The Poker House in Lamont. The call was to offer him the chance to work as a bank customer with the stunt team for The Dark Knight's opening bank robbery by The Joker and his gang.
