High on Fire have unveiled the video for “Cometh the Storm,” the title track from their new album arriving next Friday (April 19th).
The six-minute track opens with a subdued intro that’s guided by bassist/guitarist Jeff Matz. Much like the calm before the storm in question, Matz’s phrases slowly lead the arrangement to a bombastic chorus, as Coady Willis’ drumming picks up and the bellows of frontman Matt Pike assume a towering presence.

The confection of Matz and Pike’s thick, bass-y guitar tones are at the crux of these massive drops and dynamic peaks, which culminate in a satiating, late-track sludge breakdown. And it was Matz who broke ground on the composition of the song while noodling on his bass in the practice room.
“‘Cometh the Storm’ was built from a riff I started playing on bass at practice,” said Matz in a press release.

There’s no doubt that Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are one of WWE’s power couples. Both ruled their respective divisions in the wrestling industry, and they started dating, had a baby, and got married on June 29, 2021.

Meanwhile, some fans use Becky Lynch to insult him, but it does not affect Seth Rollins as he laughs out loud at those insults.
In a recent podcast, Becky Lynch, whose real name is Rebecca Quin, spoke about all those things and showered huge praise for her husband. She commented on those who use her name to lash out at Rollins.

Becky Lynch is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the WWE women’s division who has truly seen a level of success many can only dream of. She is beloved for a good reason but it appears she ended up getting a ton of backlash from WWE fans for posing with USA President Joe Biden recently.

Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly… We’re apparently on the road to Wrestlemania so let’s get into it!
Match #1: Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa def. The Street Profits The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After the turbulent events of Friday’s SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso stood with Solo Sikoa to claim The Bloodline is as strong as ever without Jey Uso anywhere in sight. They were soon interrupted by The Street Profits, and it wasn’t long before the two tandems engaged in a pre-match brawl. In the subsequent matchup, The Street Profits used tag team precision against Jimmy. They didn’t realize, however, that Solo was actually the legal Superstar. After launching Ford off the top rope to the ringside floor, Sikoa blasted Dawkins with the Samoan Spike for the three-count.

Match #1: Finn Bálor & Damian Priest def. The Street Profits The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the first Raw matchup of the night, Finn Balor used interference from Dominik Mysterio to hit the Coup De Grace on Angelo Dawkins and give himself and Damian Priest the victory. After the bell, the dark faction attempted a post-match beat down on The Street Profits. In response, Edge and Beth Phoenix charged in to even the odds. In the midst of that bedlam, The Glamazon attacked Dominik. As she did, Rhea Ripley suddenly entered behind her and hit the Riptide on the WWE Hall of Famer.

Match #1: Damian Priest def. Angelo Dawkins The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before the match, WWE Official Adam Pearce ordered everyone surrounding the ring to go to the backstage area, allowing this match to be contested one-on-one. In the early goings, Angelo Dawkins threw Damian Priest over the announce table, proving he meant business in this Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Priest bounced back fairly quickly, hitting a Broken Arrow followed by a Bell Clap. Dawkins gave it his all, hitting a superb Swanton Bomb but could only achieve a two-count. Priest grabbed the victory with a South of Heaven to make the Elimination Chamber even more judgmental than it already was.

Match #1: The Street Profits def. The Judgment Day The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After making their recent return, The Street Profits squared off with a team they had never faced in Finn Bálor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day. Backed up by Akira Tozawa, The Profits controlled most of the matchup. The pace quickened to a frenetic degree after Priest hit Angelo Dawkins with a South of Heaven before he succumbed to a Frog Splash from Montez Ford. Dominik Mysterio, sporting sunglasses after Asuka’s blue mist attack from last week, had his eyes injured yet again after Tozawa threw liquid into his eyes. In the chaos, Ford took advantage and put away Bálor with a rollup to gain the win.

It needs to be stated that Becky Lynch, one of the most popular wrestlers in the WWE today, is going to be taking on the role of Cyndi Lauper in the Young Rock show, but it’s fair to say that if it works out that it might be time to see a biopic of Lauper finally, and Lynch could possibly be the woman to take on the lead role. Out of the many wrestlers that have gone on to have a career in TV and the movies, it’s easy to state that several of them have fizzled out quickly

“Bodies Bodies Bodies” (Lionsgate): A band of post-adolescent rich kids turn on each other, with violent consequences, in this wildly comic murder mystery. What’s perhaps most wickedly delightful about Halina Reijn’s satire with a body count is the way it plays out like a Gen Z Twitter fights, in real time, with weapons, proving that you can poke at internet culture even in a house where a thunderstorm has knocked out the WiFi.
Also available:
“Bullet Train” (Sony) Assassin Brad Pitt meets many, many other assassins and ne’er-do-wells on a bullet train, and they try to kill each other quickly.
“Beast” (Universal): Man-vs-Nature thriller with Idris Elba trying to protect his daughters from a very large lion intent on protecting his own territory.
“Breaking” (Decal/Bleeker) John Boyega resurrects the spirit of “Dog Day Afternoon” in this true-life bank-robbery drama from Abi Damaris Corbin and Kwame Kwei-Armah.

WWE superstar Bianca Belair poses for a series of selfies on Instagram. Pic credit: @biancabelairwwe/Instagram
WWE superstar Bianca Belair recently shared a group of stunning throwback images featuring herself and husband Montez Ford as they enjoyed some time together on the beach.
In the collection of images, the WWE Raw Women’s Champion wears a gorgeous black bikini and hoop earrings, with her hair flowing down rather than rocking the long braid fans see her with when she’s in the ring.
Bianca’s solid black two-piece swimsuit features metal hardware for parts of the unique design, including a gold zipper on the bikini bottoms and a stylish belt under her top. In addition to the hoop earrings, additional images show her wearing several necklaces.
Montez wears a pair of black trunks to match his wife and has on an eye-catching thick chain necklace as an accessory for his look.

Even though her days as a champion within WWE are far behind her, Hall of Famer Trish Stratus continues to show that she’s in incredible shape.
The Canadian professional wrestling legend gave fans a look at her rock-hard abs in an Instagram clip she shared on Monday, which only focused on her midsection.
In the quick video, Trish raises her shirt just a bit to reveal her solid abdominal muscles while rocking casual dark pants and a black t-shirt.
“Peek-ab-boo,” she cleverly wrote in her Instagram post’s caption, referring to the abs reveal.
Trish, real name Patricia Anne Stratigeas, is 46 years old but shows her age is just a number. The fitness proponent has clearly kept herself healthy over the years.

Match #1: Raw Women’s Championship Match – Bianca Belair def. Becky Lynch The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch have collided many times, but the animosity reached a new level as the two Superstars stared each other down with fire in their eyes before the bell. Lynch used her ring skills to avoid the power of Belair, basking in the boos as she focused on the arm of The Est of WWE. After turning the tide with a standing moonsault, Belair hunted down Big Time Becks outside the ring. Belair looked for a K.O.D. on the barricade, but Lynch landed on her feet,...

Welcome to this week’s review of WWE Raw, the company’s flagship show which this week follows one of the worst episodes of Smackdown I’ve seen in some time. And yes, that’s exactly what I said last week but the same applies to this week! Let’s see what this show has to offer…
Match #1: Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair def. Carmella The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The margin of error could not have been tighter for this encounter as Carmella could win the Raw Women’s Championship via pinfall, submission or count out. A perennial thorn in the side of The Est of WWE, Becky Lynch made her presence felt before the match laying out the champion with a Manhandle Slam. Lynch scouted her competition from the announce table, as it was announced that the winner would face her at SummerSlam for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Match #1: Finn Bálor def. Rey Mysterio The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After unleashing an attack on The Mysterios backstage last week, The Judgment Day continued to try to recruit Dominik Mysterio into their ranks, and their insulting words led to a pre-match brawl with Rey and Dominik. Finn Bálor took advantage of Rey Mysterio’s injured knee throughout the subsequent matchup. Despite the unyielding heart of The Legendary Luchador, The Prince emerged victorious with the Coup de Grace. After the match, The Judgment Day continued to try and intimidate Dominik into joining them.

Especially in light of Survivor Series’ struggle to maintain its identity, that it has earned over the years, as one of the Big Four PPVs (or PLEs nowadays), many have argued that Money in the Bank has become the new 4th biggest event in WWE’s calendar year. The choices made on this night do have – and have had – major implications for WWE storylines going forward. So, with this in mind, and with the shadow of SummerSlam looming at month’s end, we get a sense of where we are heading here into WWEs peak summer season. So how did things pan out? Let’s find out…

Match #1: The Mysterios def. The Judgment Day (Dq) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Judgment Day came calling in San Diego, but The Mysterios had the hometown crowd behind them to ignite their fire. Dominik was looking to impress in his first match in San Diego, but Damian Priest sent a brutal message with a toss of the younger Mysterio onto the outside barricades. With the official distracted, Rey Mysterio paid homage to the legendary Eddie Guerrero by tricking the referee into thinking he’d been struck with a steel chair by Finn Bálor.

Match #1: Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match – Liv Morgan def. Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Shotzi, Raquel Rodriquez and Lacey Evans The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Coming off of a hot streak with WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania Backlash, WWE now approaches an event that has struggled in recent years. Don’t cry, Becky Lynch: It can’t be good for the tear ducts behind a broken nose.
Monday was a rough day for the WWE “SmackDown Live” Women’s Champion, as she got decked by Nia Jax while leading an invasion of “Monday Night Raw.” The wayward blow resulted in a “broken face” and a “severe concussion,” in WWE’s words.
Tuesday was also pretty painful for Lynch. After spending the previous night in the emergency room, WWE’s medical staff informed Lynch that she could not participate at Sunday pay-per-view “Survivor Series.” The whole thing was caught on camera for WWE’s documentary web series “WWE Day Of.”

Monday’s “Raw” opened with an emotional moment that members of the WWE Universe — and the WWE locker rooms — were not ready for. Universal Champion Roman Reigns (real name Joe Anoa’i) surrendered his title after revealing an 11-year battle with leukemia.
Immediately, past and present members of the “Raw” and “SmackDown Live” locker rooms poured out their feelings and support on Twitter. Below is a mere sampling.
The one from tag-team The Usos, Reigns’ real-life cousins, will bring (more) tears to your eyes.

WWE Studios and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions have announced that the two studios will partner again to release the latest film in the long-running WWE superstar-led The Marine franchise, The Marine 6: Close Quarters - which will once again star The Miz as Marine Jake Carter, this time teaming up with bad-ass wrestler and former Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels(!)
Set to begin production on Monday November 27th in London, the film is written by Craig Walendziak (Contracted: Phase II) and directed by James Nunn – who helmed the previous film in the series along with the awesome Scott Adkins actioner Eliminators, Green Street 3: Never Back Down (which also starred Adkins) and the critically acclaimed horror/thriller Tower Block. All of which make Nunn four-for-four when it comes to superb genre flicks… Add Becky Lynch to that equation – in whatever role she is...

It’s a new day, yes it is. Three-man WWE tag-team The New Day did not survive the opening match of Sunday’s “Survivor Series.” Fellow threesome The Shield just dropped the opposing trio — some members from greater heights than others. The “Monday Night Raw” representatives conquered the “SmackDown Live” one in pretty killer fashion — just ask Kofi Kingston’s back. And neck. And whomever will have to help him walk to and from the bathroom tonight. The NFL is looking into a female Uber driver’s claim that Jameis Winston grabbed her crotch in 2016 when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was a passenger in her car. “The allegation was shared with the NFL and we have reached out to Uber to request any information they may have,” a league spokesperson told TheWrap. Becky Lynch is one of the “Four Horsewomen” leading the ongoing WWE “Women’s Revolution,” and on Sunday, she’s the only one of that quartet captaining a team at pay-per-view “Survivor Series.” So, yeah, we’d say the “Irish Lass-Kicker” is qualified to lay out the movement’s next milestones. TheWrap asked Lynch what she sees as the next progession towards in-ring equality. Many squared-circle enthusiasts believe a women’s match headlining “WrestleMania” is the ultimate “made it” moment, so we specifically asked the first-ever SmackDown Women’s Champion to steer clear of that one in her answer. “Sometimes...
