Blanca Avalos is an American actress who is fluent in Spanish and based in New York City.
Notable television roles include House of Cards (2013), directed by David Fincher, the lead in Shadow of the Monarch (2017), an Official Selection at festivals worldwide and distributed across major streaming platforms, the feature Family (2008), and the short Oil and Vinegar (2015), an Official Selection at the NYC Chain Film Festival, with several other films currently on the festival circuit.
A graduate of the esteemed "William Esper Studio" in NYC, Blanca trained with Bill Esper, Bruce McCarty, Suzanne Esper, and Jessica Wolf (Yale Drama).
When not going rogue and eating zombies for breakfast, Blanca enjoys traveling the world and experiencing different cultures, traveling from South Africa to Italy to Amsterdam. She loves spoiling "her two favorite rescues", Kenny (a 100 lb. pit bull/Spanish pointer mix) and Max (a 120 lb. German shepherd/lab mix). She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
