From Betty: The Final Girl and Pop's Chock’lit Shoppe of Horrors to Camp Pickens and the recently released Madam Satan, Archie Comics has been delivering the ghoulish goods in their Chilling Adventures Presents... one-shots all year long, and with another Spooky Season upon us, they're continuing their celebration of all things horror with family-friendly frights in their digest comics!
With another festive fall upon us, we're thrilled (and chilled) to once again team up with Archie Comics to provide Daily Dead readers with the weekly treat of exclusive previews from their digest comics! If you’re a creator, LinkedIn has an invitation for you.
Over the past few years, the top social media platform for professionals has fostered a creative community of its own. Slowly but surely, LinkedIn creators are developing eager audiences and reimagining what work-appropriate content can look like.
As the platform evolves, it is battling a pervasive preconception. If you think LinkedIn is a hub of dull, staid posts from professionals who lack personality, you might want to take a second look. There’s all sorts of stuff to find there — if you know who to follow.
I’m thrilled to announce that LinkedIn is changing
When Jerry Lee and Jonathan Javier founded Wonsulting in 2019, they turned to LinkedIn with a clear goal. Their business is billed as a tool for “turning underdogs into winners” through services like resume development. As its professional network expanded, its founders sought to “help...

It's been only ten months since LinkedIn launched its own native video service, but the professionally-oriented social media platform is starting to develop a passionate creative community of its own. At VidCon, several of those creators came together for the first-ever LinkedIn Video Creator Summit, at which early adopters of the social site's video platform shared their endorsements of it.
The panel featured four creators: Goldie Chan, Rachel Chang, Alyssa Mangaoang, and Chantel Soumis. Since launching their first LinkedIn videos, they've each brought in thousands of followers while also contributing to a community that resembles the early years of YouTube. In describing that community, Chan offered a comparison that once described the internet as a whole, though it has since become bygone on the web's more saturated creative platforms. "There's something 'wild wild west' about it right now," Chan said. "You can do almost anything on LinkedIn."

Since enabling video uploads on its platform last year, LinkedIn has played host to a growing community of creators. Now, the professionally-oriented social site is looking to get in touch with the online video community in a logical way: It is upping its presence at VidCon. The 2018 edition of the annual gathering will feature the first-ever LinkedIn Video Creator Summit, which will offer strategic tips and networking opportunities to LinkedIn videomakers.
The Video Summit will be hosted by Goldie Chan (pictured above), the founder of a marketing agency called Warm Robots and a prominent user of LinkedIn's video platform. Between 10 Am and 2 Pm Pt on Saturday, June 23, Chan will host a gathering that will be open to attendees of Vidcon's Creator and Industry Tracks. Those pass-holders will also gain access to workshops and seminars that will discuss elements of LinkedIn videomaking. Those events will take place on the Thursday and Friday of VidCon,...
