With his short fade, skinny jeans, toned bod, and tattoos, Carl Lentz wasn’t like other men of the cloth. As the lead pastor of Hillsong NYC, a megachurch specializing in youth-courting “come as you are” sermons and “Coldplay for Christ” music, Lentz became a bona-fide celebrity, palling around with A-list congregants like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Kevin Durant. He also served as team chaplain for the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets. At the height of his PR problems, Bieber even crashed with...

[[tmz:video id="0_ay4xzkoj"]] Phoenix Suns star Tyson Chandler says he ain't gonna trash his old boss, Phil Jackson -- telling TMZ Sports the Zen Master "helped me out" by trading him from the Knicks to the Mavs back in 2014. We have plenty of movie coverage here at HitFix — including Drew's rave review of this film from SXSW — but as happens when I see a film relatively early in its run, and particularly one like "Trainwreck" with a fair amount of crossover with what I cover in TV, I like to offer up a few of my thoughts, as well as a place for people who have seen the film to start discussing it. Again, this review is designed for people who've already seen "Trainwreck," and thus will have plenty of spoilers, coming up just as soon as we split the check... Amy Schumer is on an incredible roll right now. She just finished perhaps the strongest season to date of "Inside Amy Schumer" — and the "12 Angry Men" spoof is an early contender for 2015's best episode of television — and "Trainwreck" is a terrific movie introduction for her as both actress and writer.

DeAndre Jordan shouldn't take Chandler Parson's insults seriously -- he's just "butthurt" that he couldn't convince him to stay with the Mavs ... so says NBA star Tyson Chandler. For a city that is the home of a 16-time NBA champion, is one of just two markets to house a second NBA team and features a state university that has won 11 Ncaa basketball championships, Los Angeles doesn't always get the respect it deserves as a hoops Mecca. You could throw out a starting five of current All-Stars including Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Paul George, Tyson Chandler and Kwai Leonard and the media and fans would still find themselves hyping New York or Chicago before sunny Southern California. The new documentary "The Drew: No Excuse, Just Produce" isn't intended to rectify that misconception, but it provides a lot of historical fodder to support the argument that basketball's real hot spot is Los Angeles. Directed by both former NBA and UCLA player Baron Davis and newcomer Chad Gordon, "No Excuse, Just Produce" is a love letter to The Drew League, a...

Summer is about throwing meat, fish and veggies on the grill; tossing salads of all sorts; savoring watermelon, peaches and cherries; and downing iced tea and lemonade by the gallon.
But there comes a time when the sun has finally gone down, the embers have died, stomachs are full, and the time for relaxing in front of the television has come -- just in time to get some new recipes for the next summer cookout or just watch other people sweat in the kitchen.
Here are a few suggestions for your TV food menu:

For many an athlete, there is no greater honor than representing your country in an Olympics.
And success at one of these events can be a life-changing experience, in the form of professional contracts (assuming they're still amateurs), commercial endorsements and universal respect. Some can even wind up set for life off their performance during one 17-day span.

Espn‘s fourth annual Body Issue is out and we are all drooling over this year’s athletes. Honestly, who even knew that the human body was capable of looking like this? The English dictionary needs to seriously be updated to include a word that fully defines just how really, really ridiculously good looking these champions are, because calling them “toned” or “hot” seems like the understatements of the century. Regardless of their sport, from golfing to surfing to running, these athletes show how exercise does miracles for one’s physique and confirm that we all need to really start using our gym memberships…or better yet, purchase a gym membership.
While looking at Espn‘s photos may make you want to never wear a bikini again, don’t lose all hope: these sports’ superstars actually give us a pretty refreshing view on body image. Rather, viewing their bodies as...

Espn has released the art from its third-annual Body Issue, which celebrates the naked forms of some of the best athletes in the world. One of the cover girls (there might be multiple covers hitting newsstands) is Ronda Rousey (above), a relative unknown compared to some of her Body Issue cohorts. She probably won't be unknown for much longer. The 5'6" 25-year-old is a judo and mixed martial arts competitor.
Joining Rousey in the Body Issue are (below, top to bottom) Wnba player Candace Parker, soccer player Abby Wambach, the U.S. women's volleyball team, NBA player Tyson Chandler and soccer player Carlos Bocanegra. You can see all the athletes in all their glory in Espn's official photo gallery.
Do you have a favorite? And can you believe the poses some of them can do? That picture of Bocanegra is rather stunning. The Body Issue hits newsstands Friday, July 13.

Considering this story comes hot on the heels of Espn‘s body issue, posted yesterday, and Scarlett Johansson in a bikini, published today, our self-esteem is hitting an all-time low. Michael Phelps in on the cover of Details magazine’s August issue, and he is looking slamming! He’s giving his buddy, fellow Olympic swimmer and mega hottie Ryan Lochte some serious competition, and not just in the water, if you know what we mean. The article also deals with that marijuana issue that threatened to derail Phelps’ career three years ago. Of what went down, Michael says, “It was a learning experience. I’m the kind of person who has to go through the learning experiences myself. Somebody could tell me, ‘If you eat this much you’ll be fat,’ and I’d be like, ‘Yeah, okay, let me try it.’ Growing up, my mom taught us to make our own decisions,...

We’ll be honest: Espn‘s Body Issue gives us body issues. Have you seen some of these athletes!? Their toned and tanned torsos look like slabs of beef, whereas ours has more in common with a bowl of oatmeal. A large bowl of oatmeal. The body really is an amazing thing sometimes, especially with people who devote their lives to physical fitness. Espn created the annual Body Issue basically to stare at these incredible masters of muscle. They even lay it out in their mission statement:
“Each year, we stop to admire the vast potential of the human form. To apologetically stand in awe of the athletes who’ve pushed their physiques to profound frontiers. To imagine how it would feel to inhabit those bodies, to leap and punch and throw like a god. To … well, gawk. So go ahead; join us.”
This is all well and good, but...

New York (AP) — Rob Gronkowski, Maurice Jones-Drew, Tyson Chandler and Abby Wambach are among the athletes who will strip down to pose in Espn The Magazine's fourth annual "Body Issue."
Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista, New York Rangers forward Brad Richards and Wnba star Candace Parker will also appear in the July 13 edition.
With the London Games this summer, the list announced Wednesday is heavy with Olympians, including gymnast Danell Leyva, sprinter Carmelita Jeter, decathlete Ashton Eaton and members of the U.S. women's volleyball team.
The magazine's editor in chief, Chad Millman, says they try to pick athletes who "just recently popped."
Gronkowski is a classic example of that. The New England Patriots tight end emerged as one of the NFL's biggest offensive stars this past season — and it doesn't hurt that he has a penchant for appearing shirtless in photos. The magazine had a commitment from him way back last fall.

The New York Knicks have gone from Linsanity to insanity. Mike D'Antoni, an offensive mastermind who was brought in to kickstart a stagnant team after the 2007 season, has resigned from his job as head coach of the historic franchise. Assistant coach Mike Woodson will be his interim replacement. After two difficult years aimed at casting aside bad contracts and rebuilding the franchise, D'Antoni and the newly-acquired Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony led the team to the playoffs last season, falling in a sweep to the Boston Celtics. With the signing of star center Tyson Chandler from the Dallas

This year's Miss USA winner has been crowned and the lucky girl who carries the 2011 title is Alyssa Campanella. The 21-year-old auburn-haired California girl has beaten 50 other contestants to win the prestigious pageant on Sunday night, June 19. As the new Miss USA, Alyssa will represent the nation in the Miss Universe pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.
Alyssa impressed the judges with her coherent answer during the final round of the show. Asked whether or not she believes legalizing marijuana would help the drug war, she answered, "I understand that medical marijuana is very important for those who need it legally. It's abused, but that's the only reason I'd be against it. I'm not sure legalizing it would have much of an effect on the drug war."

A new Miss USA has been named at the annual beauty pageant. Alyssa Campanella, a 21-year-old auburn-haired beauty representing California, outshone 50 other women to take the coveted title in a ceremony taking place at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday night, June 19.
The full-time model won over the judges with her strut in a blue bikini with white polka dots and in a dark turquoise evening gown. When asked about legalizing marijuana during the final Q&A phase, she said, "I understand that medical marijuana is very important for those who need it legally. It's abused, but that's the only reason I'd be against it. I'm not sure legalizing it would have much of an effect on the drug war."
In the 60th anniversary of the Donald Trump-owned pageant, Alyssa was crowned by incumbent Miss USA, Rima Fakih, who was the first Arab-American to hold the title.

Alyssa Campanella, an outgoing auburn-haired beauty from California, bested 50 other women to win the 2011 Miss USA Pageant on Sunday night in Las Vegas. In the 60th anniversary of the Donald Trump-owned pageant, Campanella, 21, of Los Angeles, dazzled judges with her poise and looks and didn't miss a beat when thrown a potentially tough question. When asked if marijuana should be legalized, she said that medical marijuana should be legal, but otherwise banned. Campanella follows Rima Fakih and will represent the United States at Miss Universe in September. If Campanella can’t fulfill her duties, she will be replaced by Miss Tennessee,...
