A storybook Los Angeles house once owned by Walt Disney is available for rent for $40,000 per month. The quaint four-bedroom home in the Los Feliz neighborhood looks like something out of one of Disney’s fairytale animated movies, complete with a turret, cozy fireplace, leaded glass windows, and a romantic curved staircase with a wrought iron railing.

Disney built the house in 1932. He lived there with his wife, Lillian, and two daughters, Sharon and Diane until 1950, when the family moved to a home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood. One of the property’s many unique features is a cottage-style “Snow White” playhouse in the backyard that was a Christmas gift to Disney’s daughters in 1937. He had his studio’s staff come in and construct the miniature house overnight to surprise the girls.

As Oliver on "The Originals," Chase Coleman is the real deal. Okay, not a werewolf, but an honest-to-goodness Southern boy born in Alabama and raised in Louisiana. As the scheming little brother to Jackson (Nathan Parsons), Oliver's intentions aren't entirely clear yet, but we're betting they will be soon. Coleman didn't give away much in my conversation with him, but he did talk about making a deal with the devil, loyalty, and what happens when you're dead (on "The Originals," of course). The show films in Atlanta and takes place in New Orleans. Aren't you from Louisiana? I live in Los Angeles, but I'm from Monroe, Louisiana. I lived in New York for seven years, I was in Los Angeles for a little over a year, then they flew me over to Atlanta for this. It's an eight-hour drive from home, but it's funny; it's making a full circle of my life.

Following up our recent chat with Nathan Parsons, we caught up with another actor who's howling away in The CW's "Vampire Diaries" spinoff "The Originals," Chase Coleman, to find out what his character of Oliver is up to. Read on for the skinny!
Coleman's Oliver, a member of the Crescent Wolf clan, first appeared in Episode 1.13, "Crescent City," in which he flirted with Rebekah and lured her into an ambush. Now he's back as one of the power players in Hayley's pack who's making deals with Klaus behind Elijah's back. He's a sneaky one!
Dread Central: What was your first impression when you first stepped onto the set of "The Originals," and how has that feeling evolved as the season's progressed?
Chase Coleman: My first impression was 100% professionalism, while still embracing a warm and friendly environment. People like to have fun on set but still are so focused that...

Earlier this year I received an email from a press rep for a surprising series, In Between Men. What was so surprising? The show was holding a red carpet premiere at TriBeCa Cinemas in New York, had enlisted minor stars like Michelle Clunie (Queer as Folk) and Chase Coleman (Boardwalk Empire), and boasted a sleek look, with glamorous New York locations and a kick-ass wardrobe from Marc Jacobs. And I’d never heard of it, or its creator. Why hadn’t I heard of this show? In Between Men is truly an anomaly in the web series world. A well-funded gay buddy soap, the show was written, shot and released in just a year by a virtual unknown in the industry, creator Quincy Morris. Since releasing its first two episodes, Ibm has been covered by Queerty, Jezebel, Têtu, among others. How did a New York professional and first-time filmmaker corral...
