Writer and director Jordan Peele has hinted that there could be more Nope-related content coming fans’ way in the future. No, it won’t be a full-on Gordy prequel–although how amazing would that be?–but could rather focus on a character you may have never heard of.
In an interview with The New York Times, Jordan Peele was prompted about “online chatter” considering a Nope character listed on IMDb as Nobody. “People are doing a lot of interesting detective work,” he said.
The character of Nobody (played by Michael Busch) was featured briefly in the Nope trailer walking among a group of panicked citizens.
“The story of that character has yet to be told, I can tell you that. Which is another frustrating way of saying, I’m glad people are paying attention. I do think they will get more answers on some of these things in the future.

It appears that Oscar-winning filmmaker Jordan Peele may not be done with the world of his acclaimed third feature, Nope.
Peele hinted at the potential for further films set in the Nope universe in an interview with the New York Times published on Monday, after being asked about a character listed on IMDb as “Nobody,” who has caught the attention of the internet. While Michael Busch is credited there with the role, the character isn’t one that appears in the film, even if he was depicted in its final trailer.
So, what’s going on there? “People are doing a lot of interesting detective work, is what’s going on,” said Peele. “The story of that character has yet to be told, I can tell you that. Which is another frustrating way of saying, I’m glad people are paying attention.”

After the release of "Nope" officially made writer and director Jordan Peele three for three in terms of box office success and well-received hits in his rapidly rising filmmaking career, fans of the deceptively twisty UFO film quickly turned their minds in a few predictable directions. Will there be a sequel? What happened with all those tantalizing shots that from the trailers that never made it into the movie? And what exactly was the deal with that whole Gordy scene, anyway?
Now that many of us have scene the buzzy film by now, Peele is starting to open up about some of the most intriguing bits of the story ... in a manner of speaking, at least.

Jordan Peele has made three movies to date, all of them passing 100 million at the domestic box office but none of them spawning sequels. Peele, instead, has continued to dream up fresh new nightmares for audiences to absorb, the latest of which is this year’s Nope.
Nope is just about to hit 150 million at the worldwide box office, and with the film now available to watch at home, Peele chats with The New York Times this week about what’s next. In the interview he seems to suggest that he’s not done with the Nope Universe just yet.
According to IMDb, Michael Busch plays the uncredited character “Nobody” in Jordan Peele’s Nope, a character who ended up being cut out of the movie – interesting to note, however, that “Nobody” was glimpsed in the movie’s first official trailer. Peele hints that the character’s story may be explored in some way,...

Jordan Peele has teased Nope fans with talk of a potential sequel.
Shortly after the filmmaker’s third blockbuster sci-fi film – starring Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluuya – released in cinemas, fans were quick to notice a mysterious IMDb-listed character named “Nobody”, played by Michael Busch.
Although he doesn’t make an appearance in the movie’s final cut, Busch can briefly be seen in the trailer walking calmly amidst a panicked crowd.
“The story of that character has yet to be told, I can tell you that,” Peele said in a recent New York Times interview. “Which is another frustrating way of saying, I’m glad people are paying attention.
“I do think they will get more answers on some of these things in the future,” he added. “We’re not over telling all of these stories.”
Nope marks Peele’s third film as director, following 2017’s Get Out and 2019’s Us.

Jordan Peele won over fans, critics and the box office alike with his summer sci-fi thriller “Nope.” And while the movie’s ending doesn’t scream for a sequel, as with any of Peele’s films, there is a lot left to the imagination, including a mysterious character listed on IMDb as “Nobody,” played by Michael Busch.
Peele addressed the uncredited character, fan theories and the possibility for a sequel in an interview with The New York Times, hinting “We’re not over telling all of these stories.”

Jordan Peele is saying yes to more “Nope.”
The writer-director revealed to The New York Times that he has more stories to tell within the “Nope” universe. The U.F.O. adventure film starred Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer as Hollywood horse trainers determined to capture an extraterrestrial presence on film. Steven Yeun, Barbie Ferreira, Brandon Perea, Keith David, Donna Mills, Andrew Patrick Ralston, and Michael Wincott round out the cast.
Yet eagle-eyed fans of Peele’s third feature, following “Get Out” and “Us,” drew attention to an uncredited character listed as Nobody on IMDb, played by Michael Busch.

“A little bit of horror, a little bit of comedy; I’m always going to try and give you a big show.” That’s how Oscar winning writer-director Jordan Peele described his storytelling sensibility to Deadline at the premiere of his latest, Nope.
As to whether he might venture into other genres or play with different tones he continued, “I will stay within this realm that I love which is, I think, the only way I know how to view the world and how to tell
stories at this point.

Every now and then something comes along on the web, that's really exciting. It's got all the right elements to go viral — an interesting subculture: check; hot chicks: check; and really, really funny: check. I'm gonna go ahead and say it, I'm darn excited about wieners. That's right, wieners. Well, not just wieners, but a new web series from 60Frames focusing on the world of competitive eating. Watching the well-produced trailer (above), and the bonus clip (below) that have so-far been leaked to YouTube, I'd say The Quest for the Golden Hot Dog has all the right elements — hot chicks, wiener eaters, and a veritable who's who of the La-indie comedy scene. The world of competitive eating also seems so ripe for parody-fodder it's hard to believe Will Ferrell and Adam McKay haven't already capitalized on the idea. Luckily for web fans, Upright Citizen's Brigade comedian and The Quest for the Golden Hot Dog creator,...
