Los Angeles-based virtual reality startup Survious is getting ready to launch Electronauts, a new virtual reality (Vr) app that allows users to playfully mix and remix songs in real-time. Electronauts will launch on Htc Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation Vr headsets on August 7, and come with remixable tracks from musicians including The Chainsmokers, Odesza, Steve Aoki, Tiesto and DJ Shadow.

Here’s the complete list of tracks available to remix with Electronauts at launch:

If there’s one vital lesson the music world has taught us over the years, it’s don’t mess with Nicki Minaj.
The 34-year-old rapper has cemented herself as a wig-loving, expletive-laden-lyric-delivering, no-nonsense force to be reckoned with. So, naturally, she’s had her fair share of feuds with other celebs.
The “Anaconda” rapper has sparred with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey and more.
However, last April, Minaj told Ellen DeGeneres that she regrets her past feuds with fellow stars, saying, “I’m a sweet person, and I don’t wanna be mean to people.

No one would disagree with Kanye West that the most memorable part of his 2010 song “Monster,” more so than himself or Jay Z or Rick Ross, is Nicki Minaj. The way he said it though...
“The fact that she kicked my ass, on my own song,” Kanye said during a lecture at Oxford University (via The Tab Oxford). “On one of the best albums, the best album -- I’m just saying what the critics said -- of the last 25 years. “To come back and deliver my magnum opus of a work, and to be outshined,” he said. “To be beat by a girl, basically.” We guess that’s a compliment. But “beat by a girl,” Kanye? In 2015, Kanye? C’mon, Kanye.

“I have a lot of different types of music on my iPod.” That’s my go-to response when people ask for my favorite band, clearly trying to learn something about me by the fact that I like Jason Mraz or that one Mystikal song. That sentence is how I avoid judgment. But it’s also true.

Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard has penned an open letter in response to the previous posts by fellow band members Aubrey O'Day and Shannon Bex as well as O'Day's allegations of violence by Richard.
Last week, the girl group announced that they had split for a second time after O'Day wrote a letter on the group's website claiming she had been punched by a fellow group member. A report by TMZ.com named Richard as the aggressor in the attack. On Saturday, Richard wrote on Facebook, "I am sorry to everyone that this news has to come out. You're worth more. Certain choices were made that I am not proud of. However, I will not be disrespected.

The 2013 Video Music Awards are here and there seems to be quite a show planned. The biggest expectation is some sort of *Nsync reunion during Justin Timberlake's Video Vanguard Award presentation. There's also performances from Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Drake and many more. Then there's that far less exciting Danity Kane reunion that tens of fans are excited to see.
Who will walk away with the most Moonmen and which attendee will undoubtedly make a fool of themselves? Plus, which star will have the craziest outfit? Our money is on Gaga, who will need to find a way to top the infamous meat dress. Hopefully we also get a brand-new jaw-dropping moment in Vma history.

Danity Kane, the girl group founded via "Making the Band 3," is reuniting for a comeback -- without manager Sean "Diddy" Combs, who helped make them and then break them.
Four founding members, Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres (fifth member D. Woods was not with them), were spotted by TMZ on Monday (May 13) having lunch together and making plans for a new album and tour. They tell the site they have no plans to include Diddy -- "Who's that?", snarks O'Day.
Five years ago, after famously managing the band while they dropped two platinum albums, Diddy fired all the original members except Richard, after there were several fights between him and the band members. He was reportedly priming Richard for a solo career.
But now it looks as though the band is back together -- without Diddy. In April 2013, O'Day teased the reunion when she posted...

Sorry, Snoop. Mariah Carey, it’s not you. It’s us. Well, actually it’s Diddy, JLo and us if the Universe decides to be merciful. If American Idol is actually attempting to recruit P. Diddy for a judge’s spot like Page Six claims, then we demand as loyal audience members that they wrangle Jennifer Lopez back onto the show. Seeing as how the two used to date around the turn of the century, this would be the perfect reunion scenario. Two famous exes crushing young people’s dreams side by side? Their incredibly complicated relationship played out for the entire world to see? If there is anyway we can also replace Randy Jackson with Ben Affleck, we’ll hand over an Emmy to Idol right now. Right…now.
Their personal history aside for the moment, Diddy also has enough reality show experience for us to immediately sign off on this move.

Kristen Stewart leaves “Twilight” far behind in a sexy, adventurous performance in “On The Road,” based on the iconic Jack Kerouac novel, where she “pushed herself” hard, she told the media at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. In the film directed by Walter Salles (“The Motorcycle Diaries”) Stewart appears topless and close to fully naked in several scenes. She plays Marylou, the wife of one of the writers who joins them on their road adventures. Heavily produced and mega-famous hip-hop superstars who perform with dozens of back-up dancers, smoke plumes, and multiple wig-changes per show can sometimes seem inauthentic — like perhaps they didn't work their ways up the ladder, but rather sprang fully formed from St. Kanye's Academy for Young Ladies with Game (school motto: "Conquering Shyness, Believing in Flyness — Since 1893"). Maybe that's why the internet is so excited about this old video of Nicki, before she had so much mun-mun-muny. The previously unreleased video, which popped up on th' internet today, is called "Dirty Money," is from around 2007, and features no pink wigs, no growly-voiced monster personas, and no motorcycles made out of ice — just a young-looking Nicki walking around the streets of Queens. Far better than the actual song, though, is the latter half, when she candidly talks into the camera, free-styles, and then asks [...]...

Where some people see a pogo stick, John and Jimmy Diresta see an investment. On 'Dirty Money' (Tuesdays, 10Pm on Discovery) they happened upon some people in a public park doing amazing pogo tricks. The Direstas stopped to make them an offer, and they agreed that if Jimmy could make them something they'd never seen before, they might spend between $400 and $500 for it.
After some trial and error, Jimmy delivered, making a custom old school pogo stick. "You can see I'm using a double spring that gets extended as opposed to compressed," he said, explaining his creation. "This is one garage door spring cut in half and then hooked onto this adjustable mechanism right here."

P. Diddy is set to release a book about bottoms. The rapper and entrepreneur - whose real name is Sean Combs - has teamed with Interscope records chairman Jimmy Iovine for the coffee table photo album publication dedicated to women's backsides, featuring images taken by fashion and music photographer Raphael Mazzucco. News of the book - which goes on sale in November - comes soon after the Dirty Money hitmaker recently brought out a new fragrance, called Sean John Empress, and signed up Kelly Rowland to be the face of the scent. Interviewing Kerli at Lollapalooza
Tour News
Lollapalooza just celebrated it’s historic 25th year and 6th year in Chicago at Grant Park. Having up until recently been Chicagoan, I felt attending the event was certainly worth a trip back to town. (I recently moved to New York City for a position with Emi Music in Marketing working for Astralwerks, home to The B-52s, Kylie Minogue and David Guetta among others.)
I flew into Chicago the first day of the show and just missed the chance at catching Young The Giant and Kerli perform. So bummed. I did get to see UK rapper Tinie Timpah perform his chart topping radio hit “Written In the Stars” and the talented young Christina Perri belt out her beautiful hit “Jar of Hearts.” I strolled past Afrojack’s performance of his hit “Take Over Control” on my way to see Crystal Castles perform their trippy must-see show.

Tonight, Jason Momoa is on "Conan." I don't actually have any comments about that, I just figured I'd lead off with it because apparently Mr.Momoa is how you generate page views round these parts lately. Also the season finale of "Masterchef" which a lot of you apparently feel very strongly about and a few of those shows that revolve around auctions or pawn shops. I find it interesting that the American 'get rich quick' scheme seems to change every few years. Forever ago it was internet start ups, then more recently flipping houses, now it seems to be finding valuables in discarded or otherwise seemingly worthless junk. I'm sure that if I were a sociologist I'd find something significant there but I'm not. Y'all are free to discuss at will though. Here's your Tuesday night TV:
8:00pm: "Cupcake Wars" on Food Network
"It's Worth What?" on NBC.

For any aspiring rock god, the most important weapon in your arsenal is a killer instrument, and few instruments look more killer than the custom-made bass featured on last night's 'Dirty Money' (Tue., 10Pm Et on Discovery).
The new series sees brothers (and entrepreneurs, of a kind) John and Jimmy Diresta turning other folks' trash into their treasure, customizing flea market finds and selling them at a profit.
Their Gene Simmons-inspired guitar is the first of many.

Tonight there's quite a few Brits on television (that's a lie, there's two but one has four shows on tonight) but I'd like to say to all my British readers that I hope all of you and your loved ones are safe and far away from the violence that's erupted in London and other areas. The Us coverage has been spotty at best since most Us based news sources are still wringing their hands over the S&P rating debacle and ensuing stock market nosedive but I've been reading whatever I can get and thank those of you who have posted links on facebook for the information. It sounds truly terrifying. All of you are in my thoughts tonight. Here's your Tuesday night TV:
