Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht was pretty impressed to hear that the Below Deck Season 10 crew scored a $40,000 tip last season. And while the Parsifal III crew has yet to receive a tip anywhere close to $40,000, Shephard said his crew feels well compensated.
“Tips are normally based on how much people pay for the charter and then, of course, how much they enjoy themselves on board,” he explained to Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “I guess the boat size could play a role, but I’m not really sure if the motor yachts are a bit bigger or if it costs a bit more per year per charter. That could be a reason. But I would say we’re pretty happy with it.”
How does a motor yacht compare to a sailing yacht in terms of cost (and tips)?
Shephard has a good point about boat size and cost.

The phrase “water-cooler TV show” may have already sounded old fashioned long before workers began fleeing their offices in the early days of the pandemic, but the meaning of the term remains alive and well with countless fans discussing, debating, arguing about and bonding over their favorite shows online. Rather than gathering around the break room vending machine to chat about the previous night’s shocking twists, social media is the new meeting place where fan theories are traded back and forth. The problem is, it’s hard to go into serious detail or capture the true essence of a complex TV show in a measly 280-character tweet.
Perhaps that’s why TV podcasts have become so wildly popular over the past few years. Instead of boiling down an emotionally devastating episode of “Mare of Easttown” or a mind-bending hour of “Squid Game” in a handful of words, a well-produced...

It's all come down to this. After weeks of bitching, backstabbing and betrayal, at last we're at the Bachelor Pad finale, with just Chris and Sarah and NIck and Rachel still in the game. And considering everyone - from exec producer Mike Fleiss to host Chris Harrison - has been teasing that it's "disturbing", we should be in for a treat! Mr Harrison's here, anyway, all suave and smooth, to tell us again that we're in for the "most shocking" and "most disturbing" season closer ever. First, we have to welcome back all the former contestants (including several you may well have forgotten about - hence the wide difference in cheer level) and get to see some best bits from the last few weeks... In an interview with host Chris Harrison, he teased that they had to come up with a different word to describe this year's "Bachelor Pad" finale - "disturbing," as opposed to "dramatic." So needless to say, we're chomping at the bit to find out what goes down.
The panel of evicted contestants are introduced -- what in the heck is Jamie wearing? She's like if H&M was putting out a line of Native American princess chic. And also, Erica Rose's hair looks 1000x better than it did on the show. Blondes rarely look good with that platinum, trashy color. That nice honey color is so much better.
After a pointless video recap, we learn that Kalon/Lindzi are still going strong, so that's cool. Of course Erica must stick her giant $0.02 in, telling Lindzi to be careful and that she sees Kalon around town with different girls all the time.

This is it—all the lying and crying on The Bachelor Pad boils down to what happened tonight. As usual, the finale consisted of a live show with all the contestants for some flashbacks and updates, before finding out who got crowned as the top couple, and more importantly, whether they chose to keep or share the money. And tonight was a doozy. Let's start with some updates. Kalon and Lindzi are still together, but Erica R. chimed in and told Lindzi to be careful because she's spotted Kalon at different events with other women. Yeah, super awkward. And poor Lindzi didn't know what to say or do. Michael and Rachel, however, are not still smitten...

Biggest Backfire: Bachelor Pad’s Michael managed to mastermind Erica’s ouster… only to have her take him down with her. Continuing to prove herself wildly oblivious, she said in exit interviews, “You expect to [on the show] and make friends, not lose any.”
Most Prudish Organization: So what’s got the Parent’s Television Council’s panties in an uproar now? Pixelated nudity. Why? because “it could be perceived to be a closer simulation of complete frontal nudity given that the viewer is seeing all flesh tones.” Anybody else beginning to suspect that every member of the PTC is a nevernude?
Least Missed: Wait, The Glass House is already over? Um… who won? Eh, never mind.
Best Reaction: The always horribly dressed Mike Boogie had to give a literal tip of the hat to fellow Big Brother competitor Ian for masterminding his ouster. Wonder if Ian can figure out a way to boot the Chenbot?...

Bachelor Pad star Erica Rose has admitted that she would "definitely" be interested in starring in her own reality show. But I would love to do kind of like a Legally Blonde reality show because I have gotten a job at a law firm recently and I'm going to start working, and I think it would be cool just to do one with me in my regular life." Rose added that (more)...

Erica Rose has revealed that she would like Sarah Newlon and Chris Bukowski to triumph on Bachelor Pad. Rose, who was voted out of the show after a shock twist in this week's episode, told reporters that she is "definitely rooting" for the duo. "Sarah was my really good friend going into the house, and I think we are even closer now," she said. "And I really admire the way that Chris played the (more)...

You can always count on Erica Rose to be dramatic, so it was only fitting that she left Bachelor Pad with a bang, taking out Michael Stagliano and rubbing salt in his wounds by bringing up Holly in her closing speech. Erica recently spoke with reporters about her time on the latest season of Bachelor Pad, so read on to find out what she had to say about her feelings towards Michael, the relationships in the house and whether she'd ever do Bachelor Pad again (don't hold your breath...) When did you suspect Michael was lying to you? Had you trusted him up to that point?
"Yeah. I started suspecting that Michael was lying to me, first of all when he told me that Chris voted for me and then Chris came up and was like, 'I haven't voted yet and I'll take you into the voting booth right now...

On this week's episode of Bachelor Pad, Erica was blindsided when her close friend Michael masterminded a plan to get her out. She did get revenge however, as a twist allowed her to pick the guy who leave the game with her -- and it was Michael.
Oh, the drama.
In a conference call with the media today, Erica dished on her now almost nonexistent relationship with Michael, who she's rooting for in the game and what's next for this memorable reality star -- and it might not be what you think!
Here are highlights from the interview:...

Bachelor Pad host Chris Harrison has revealed that Rachel Truehart almost quit the show. Truehart considered leaving after her partner Michael Stagliano - with whom she had struck up a romantic relationship - was eliminated from the game in last night's episode. Stagliano was forced to leave after a twist was introduced which meant that the eliminated female, Erica Rose, was the one to choose which man should leave. "Rachel all but walked out the door, and I was about to tell them if Rachel leaves, Erica is back in the game," Harrison told TV Guide. "I think Michael figured that out and talked her into staying." However, Harrison hinted that Truehart and her new partner Nick Peterson will make a good (more)...

Oh, what could have been, rose lovers. Before she was unceremoniously shown the door in this week’s episode, Erica Rose made a tragic embarrassing not at all staged valiant effort to elevate her relationship with Nick from “forced to be partners” to “forced to be partners so why don’t we start hooking up too?” As this deleted scene from Monday’s episode reveals, no phallic object was spared in Erica Rose’s efforts to lure Nick to the dark side. Here’s hoping that representatives for People for the Ethical Treatment of Produce and Popsicles (a.k.a.

Bachelor Pad is definitely the worst thing to happen on television in the last 24 hours (if not 24 months), and yet not only am I recapping it, I’ve taken a rooting interest in which of its bedraggled, hard-drinking cast members wins the $250,000 cash prize and/or “love.”
Last night’s episode found teammates Blakeley and Tony winning the respective women’s and men’s tea-cup race challenges, and extending immunity to Kalon and Jaclyn. In a surprise twist clearly designed to keep woman-hating ogre Chris in the competition, the rules were changed, with every contestant voting to eliminate one woman.

Bachelor Pad host Chris Harrison has suggested that Michael Stagliano was forced out of his "comfort zone" in last night's episode. Yesterday's instalment saw Stagliano sent home thanks to a twist which gave the eliminated woman - Erica Rose - the power to choose which man should leave the mansion. Harrison has now written in his blog for Entertainment Weekly that the twist "completely changed this game". "For two seasons now, Michael Stagliano has helped dictate what has gone on at Bachelor Pad," he said. "His game plan has always been to be the quiet assassin, letting others do his dirty work. "This plan has worked extremely well, but this week, because of the twist, he was forced (more)...

Once again this episode starts with the fallout from the last elimination. As you can see, the anger management classes aren’t exactly working for Chris. He’s an angry little elf, isn’t he? Michael had a great line when he said Chris was taking up “all the a-hole space” in the house. You know things are getting out of hand when even Michael Stagliano thinks you’re being a dill-weed.
This week’s challenge, “The Great Fall of China,” really did seem simple when I was explaining it, but as you saw, it was pretty difficult to execute.

Before we jump into the show tonight, faithful readers and "Bachelor Pad" fans, we must draw your attention to this interview we did with Chris last week in case you missed it. His lack of self-awareness is staggering. Not only does he think his stringing along of multiple women "part of the game" (it's not), but he thought Jamie would give him a hug before she let last week. A Hug, you guys. He's lucky he didn't get punched in the throat.
Blakeley sums it up nicely in the opening few frames when she calls him "the s*** on the bottom of my shoe." But then Stagliano hilariously one-ups her with, "Chris is taking up all the a**hole space in the house."
Kalon tells Chris the truth -- he's a loose cannon that nobody likes and he won't listen to anyone (because he has the emotional maturity of a...

The Bachelor Pad victor has finally fallen.
Just when it seemed that house womanizer Chris would experience some payback, a twist was revealed: The players would vote out a woman who would then single-handedly choose a man to exit with her. Last year's winner Michael, aware he'd be on the chopping block, tried to get his friend Erica out. But when his plan was discovered, she turned right around and took him out with her.

Spoilers for Season 3 of ABC's "Bachelor Pad" mysteriously disappeared from Reality Steve's website recently (though you can still read them here and here), and now Steve is breaking his silence on why they're gone and the meaning behind all those vague tweets last month from show creator Mike Fleiss.
In July, shortly after spoiler guru Reality Steve (real name Steve Carbone) revealed that Emily Maynard had chosen Jef Holm as her final guy on this season of "The Bachelorette," Fleiss took to Twitter with a string of comments that seemed to be directed toward Steve.
"Caught with a smoking gun... Next time, you should just shove the barrel in your mouth! Boom!!!" reads one of many tweets in Fleiss' rant.
Rs and Fleiss had battled it out -- via their lawyers -- over Steve's spoiler posts earlier this year with "The Bachelor" producers ultimately dismissing their lawsuit against Steve in...

The creator of the Reality Steve website today said he has yanked all Bachelor Pad spoilers from his fan site.
Steve Carbone wrote that he was “informed by the lawyers for the production company of the Bachelor franchise that they believed a breach had occurred in the agreement I signed,” a reference to his recent settlement with Warner Bros.-owned Nzk Prods and Alternative TV. (The studio sued Carbone in December for soliciting information from The Bachelor cast and crew). Carbone believes the newest threats came after Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss learned of Carbone’s long-standing relationship with season 9 contestant Erica Rose.

Before I get into the mess that was this week’s Bachelor Pad, I want to take a moment to talk about a beautiful thing that happened to our family this week. Saturday I was honored to officiate the wedding of two of our wonderful producers, Cassie and Pete. I have watched these two grow professionally and romantically over the years, and it has been a wonderful thing to witness. This love culminated in an amazing ceremony this weekend surrounded by family and friends. It was fantastic to see and hang with so many of our happy couples at the wedding,...
