Rebecca Lipkin(I)

Rebecca Lipkin was born in New York and graduated from Brown University
in 1981. She was received her masters in journalism from NYU in 1986.
She began her journalism career at the ABC affiliate in New York,
WABC-TV where she worked as a political and special projects producer
from 1983 to 1992. She was part of the ABC team that covered the
presidential campaigns of 1984, 1988 and 1992.
From 1992 to 2001 Ms. Lipkin was a Washington, DC-based staff producer for "ABC World News Tonight With Peter Jennings." In 2001 Ms. Lipkin relocated to London where she served as a producer for "Nightline" hosted by Ted Koppel.
In 2005 Ms. Lipkin left ABC to join the London office of al-Jazeera where she served as the Director of Programs and helped launch al-Jazeera English.
