The opening night of the new Sphere Las Vegas event space was a star-studded affair!
Sin City’s new concert venue officially opened on Friday night (September 29) and featured the first night of U2‘s Uv Achtung Baby Live At Sphere residency at the location.

There were several stars in attendance at the opening and U2 concert, including expecting parents Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari, as well as Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston.

Each year, Icap Charity Day raises money for charities across the globe, with 100% of the revenues and commissions generated on one day donated to a variety of causes. Last year 120 different charitable organizations benefited worldwide.
Since Charity Day was launched in December 1993, Icap has raised nearly $185 million for more than 2,400 charities worldwide. In 2018 alone, $5.7 million was raised by Icap’s 27 global offices.
This year, Charity Day will again be raising funds for around 100 charities globally, of which over 45 are Us charities. On the day, Icap employees on the broking floor will be joined by a group of celebrities who will speak directly to Icap’s Us customers on the phone to close deals, boosting broking volumes in the process.

The truth is I'm a spoiled brat. Even though MTV News doesn't pay me like a millionaire (I'm working on that, by the way), the perks that come with the job are pretty insane. I have been to Africa with 50 Cent, have partied with Young Jeezy and Rick Ross, interviewed everyone from Jessica Alba to Micky Rourke and have a photo album on Facebook that garners as much attention as it does haters. But nothing — and I really do mean nothing — compares to the most recent celebrity visit we had on Wednesday (April 14): Lord Stanley's Cup.
That's right sports fans! The most coveted trophy in all of sports made its way into the MTV Newsroom for a highly-anticipated visit.
