Emilio Aguinaldo was born on March 22, 1869 in Cavite El Viejo, Cavite, Philippines [now Kawit, Cavite, Philippines]. He was married to María Agoncillo and Hilaria del Rosario. He died on February 6, 1964 in Quezon City, Philippines.
Leader of Filipino rebels against Spanish, and later U.S., occupation forces during the Philippine's Ward of Independence. He later became the country's first president.
