Respect film critics if you have invited them!
Kabir Khan created a brilliant climax scene for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. People from India and Pakistan converged on both sides in an attempt to set Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi free. Now, Pavan had completed a noble task of ensuring Munni was safe back with her parents and citizens from both countries were pushing for justice.
At Fun Republic in Versova, Andheri, in Mumbai, a similar scene was being enacted before the Press Show.
Apparently, there was a movie contest where winners were being given their free tickets. The film critics and assorted media was there too, on invitation. However, one had to push through the crowd to get to the front only to be told by the usher that we would have to enter with the tickets.
Fair enough!
But where were the tickets and the hosts? Obviously, since they had not planned themselves,...

We have been telling you about the exciting animated film by Nikhil Advani title Delhi Safari, which is set to hit theaters on October 19th. Jungle animals threatened with deforestation fight back against the Indian government in the upcoming 3D animated adventure. Providing comedic fun for audiences of all ages the film features an all-star voice cast including Govinda as a militant monkey, Akshaye Khanna as a rogue parrot, Urmila Matondkar as a determined queen, Swini Khara as the cute cub Yuvi and Boman Irani as a know-it-all-bear. It also boasts music by the great Shakhar-Ehsaan-Loy! Delhi Safari won the Best Animated Feature Film award at Ficci Frames 2012 and has been endorsed by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). It will also be released with an English version of the film features voices by Jason Alexander, Brad Garrett, Vanessa Williams, Jane Lynch, Christopher Lloyd and Cary Elwes.

We told you earlier about director Nikhil Advani’s campaign to write to the Prime Minister to protect the habitat of the wild animals. This unique marketing initiative is for his upcoming 3D animation film Delhi Safari. Nikhil Advani, Boman Irani, Govinda, Bittu Sahgal, Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa and Swini Khara were present at the Delhi Safari press meet held at PVR Juhu and initiated the ambitious nationwide campaign titled, “Fight for Us Write for Us” on 9th August, 2012.
Explaining the campaign Advani said, “We will ask students from over 1000 schools to send letters in support of the cause, which will then be sent to the Prime Minister’s office. We will use the internet and social media to reach out to as many as possible, so that the petition reaches the Pm’s office by Wildlife Week (in October).”
