- Torn from a young age and hurled into the vast world of crafting something from nothing this Manitoba native made a large splash early on in his career while starring and acting in the pre-teen show "Clan Destin" at the age of 17. Soon after Laurent found himself an award winning filmmaker with the documentary "Deuxieme Enfance", a win that cemented his understanding of the celluloid arts. This led him to acquire his film directing degree from Vancouver Film School.
Following his graduation Laurent immersed himself in many jobs in the subsequent years, all kinds ranging from PA, to Cast Driver, and eventually working his way to Assistant Directing. Laurent is a force to be reckoned with and a lover of the cinematic arts to a near religious philosophy.
Wanting to get back to his roots as an improv artist, Laurent co-created "Vancouver Improv Anywhere", a group of actors who would go on to perform more than a dozen showcases around the city.
And now... after a brief stint of spending time with his beloved family Laurent is back in the film game full time.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Josh Hatfield
