Chris McNair(III)
- Actor
- Additional Crew
Chris McNair originally came to Hollywood in the mid-90s as a martial
arts stuntman, appearing in a string of David Defalco's action films
such as Gangland (2000). A vintage car and motorcycle enthusiast, he
was riding his 1953 Indian Chief on the Sunset Strip when a reckless
driver plowed into him, totaling the bike and hurling McNair across two
lanes of traffic. Miraculously, no approaching cars struck him, but the
accident put him out of stunt work and films for the better part of a
decade. Following years of extensive physical therapy and yoga, McNair
set foot in front of the camera as an actor. He appeared briefly as an
uncredited LSAT student in Legally Blonde and Monica's groomsmen on the
wedding episode of NBC's Friends before landing the part of Mike, the
surfer whose house is taken over by mobsters in the 2007 Tom Arnold/Kip
Pardue film "Remarkable Power." He resides in Westwood, Los Angeles,
with his prized collection of 60's guitars.
