Sara Saidy

Born in Tehran, Iran to Mansour & Ellie Jamiei, Sara Saidy was raised
in her home town along with her younger brother and sister. Her parents
divorced when she was fifteen and she and her siblings were raised
primarily by their mother, who later remarried. She went on to attend
Tehran University. She left school after two years and moved to the
United States with the dream of becoming an actor. She studied method
acting at the Dorsey Studios & Theater for the Performing Arts(famous
school of acting with branches in Atlanta and New York) and went back
to school to major in Performance Arts. Her acting career began when
she was cast in the award wining film, The Axe Man. She later appeared
in the films Girls Rock the World, Blood Ruins and the award wining
film, My Sixteenth Summer. She has also appeared in many stage
productions including The Night of the Iguana, The Bremen Town
Musicians, Show White, Miracle on 34th Street, Sherlock's Veiled
Secret, Noises Off & Stage Door. She was the Art & Entertainment host
in the show 360 Atlanta. Her directing credits include Come Back Little
Sheba and A Dickens Christmas Carol.
