Sebastian Leitner was born on April 9th, 1987 in Vienna, Austria and
started a little film production company, now called "SLfilm", on
January 1st, 2008. He specialized in comedy (both as an editor and
writer) and (classical) music but actually studied Physics at the
University of Vienna from 2006-2013. He kept on working in the film
business, mainly as a freelance producer and filmmaker.
His first feature-length project "Noseland" (a classical music mockumentary with John Malkovich, Julian Rachlin and Roger Moore - directed by Aleksey Igudesman, English) had a very healthy run at various international film festivals and a cinematic release in the German area in 2014.
After that he got invited to co-direct an U.S. comedy feature called "The Indian" (by Chris Foessl, English) and also write the screenplay for another comedy feature "Crazy Banditos" (by Bertan Colaker, German) set in Berlin, where he also lives since 2013.
