Kevin Raines
- Actor
From the Southern hills of West Virginia, this spiring lad's world was
turned around when he met Actor/Director Travis Maynard in middle
school. Film was always on their mind, so they collaborated with ideas
of practical jokes and skits that they called "The Tapes" and "The
Movies". Those tapes and movies were not the end of their adventures.
After the local success of their tapes, they began filming full length
movies such as Game Genie and the successful sequel -- Game Genie II
(Which got an internet release as well.)
After filming the movies, they decided to enter the world of
television. Their first show, a mock-reality show -- The Runaround,
lost funding after its first episode, but the originality was never
forgotten.
Kevin is known for playing two reoccurring characters in his movies --
The Magic Bum - Virgil, and the Southern mustachioed hunter/killer -
Steve. While in college, Kevin made friends with fellow actor/writer --
Zane Crosby (Die and Let Live & Raising the Stakes). The two have been
great friends since and to this day - plan on collaborating in the
future with Travis Maynard on an original short.
