Warner Bros. has released new images from Peter Jackson's The Hobbit featuring Gandalf, Gollum, and the Hobbit clan.
The first film in the trilogy, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," will be released December 14, 2012, and we've been getting tidbits from the movie from Peter Jackson and the studio. In the new photos from the first installment, we see familiar faces like Gollum and Gandalf. The Hobbits played by Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins), James Nesbitt (Bofur), Stephen Hunter (Bombur), Graham McTavish (Dwalin), William Kircher (Bifur), and Jed Brophy (Nori).
Under Jackson's direction, all three movies are being shot in digital 3D using the latest camera and stereo technology. Additional filming, as with principal photography, is taking place at Stone Street Studios, Wellington, and on location around New Zealand.
