He was found dead in his home on the island of Burra, along with his
wife Mandy (who had long suffered from multiple sclerosis), and their
pet dog and cat, in what appeared to be a suicide pact.
Was a political cartoonist for several newspapers and illustrated the
centenary edition of R.L. Stevenson's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".
Wrote a series of books that included "The Last Polar Bears", which was
subsequently adapted as a TV cartoon in 2000. In addition, he created
the computer game "Drowned God" in 1993.
Children's author and illustrator. His first book "Opopogo, My Journey
with the Loch Ness Monster" was published in 1983.
