Sure, the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block went on tour together this summer and made a lot of women born before 1990 swoon with nostalgia, but that doesn't mean the world was asking for a new crop of boy bands to spring up.
Former Nsync member, Lance Bass must be missing the group choreography and hideous costumes because he's got a new boy band in the making; Heart2Heart. Seeing as how Lance is the ripe old age of 32, he's sitting this one out and just mentoring the band, reports Pop Dust.
While the video looks like it cost someone some major cash, it's not certain if the group, with their Justin Bieber meets 2001 style and song called "Facebook Official" is a real musical group or a parody. According to The Prophet Blog, the group's frontman David Lehre aka Chad Future, is a filmmaker who has a history...

Say what you will about the “Twilight” explosion of the last year – and everybody seems to have an opinion on whether the phenomenon is awesome or annoying – but even the haters should have a hard time complaining about how many of the franchise’s stars are using their newfound power to help young filmmakers. Jackson Rathbone has been hard at work on flicks like “Girlfriend,” Robert Pattinson has been able to bring a wider audience to quirky indies like “Little Ashes” and "How to Be,” and now comes the latest boost from Justin Chon.
“Check out this short film i did with a friend from USC,” Justin Tweeted Wednesday night, posting a link to a vimeo page with an impressive 20-minute-long film called “Turbo.” Also on the page is the trailer, both of which were posted by the film’s director Jarrett Lee Conaway.

In the spirit of Tron Legacy and Gamer comes Jarrett Lee Conaway's Turbo. A short film that combines the the feel good charm of the classic The Karate Kid with near future science fiction. It tells the story of Hugo Park (Justin Chon, Twilight) a misspent youth whose only outlet for angst is a 4D fighting videogame called “Super Turbo Arena”. When Pharaoh King (Jocko Sims, Crash the Series), the Michael Jordan of cyber-sports, announces a tournament to determine who will join his pro-team, Hugo sets his eyes on the prize. But, Hugo isn't the only gamer who wants fame and glory. If Hugo wants to win he's going to have to beat Shamus (David Lehre, Epic Movie), the all time Turbo champ at the local Pandemonium arcade, and Ruse Kapri, a feisty prep girl that knows how to win. Realizing he can't win on his skill alone, Hugo...

Imagine yourself playing a fighting video game so real, you swear your actually there in the thick of the action. This likely futuristic concept set the backdrop for the sci-fi short film Turbo by director Jarrett Lee Conaway where cyber athletics duke it out in a total immersive gaming competition. Its sort of like my misspent youth at the local arcade pumping Street Fighter 2 full of quarters and trying to school the hotshot gamers there but minus the glossy rockstar atmosphere. Could this be the next evolutionary step of interactive gaming?
