You can derive a lot of assumptions when seeing a film title such as this one. Clearly it's a parody movie and obviously its primary target is the films of Judd Apatow. And, considering the state of the genre as a whole, it's probably not very good. That last one haunted me before I even pressed play.
Let's first go with the positives. The leads Mad TV alum Bryan Callen (as Andy, the titular virgin who lives with Apatow archetypes), Noureen DeWulf (proper love interest Kim) and Mircea Monroe (crazy love interest Sarah) have great chemistry with each other and all play their bits with skill and no fear. Callen's reactions to everything going on around him are spot-on and speak volumes for his comedic prowess. They also made ridiculously great matches for "Seth Green" and the SuperBad trio and Chris Spencer and Randall Park are solid as a pair of unorthodox cops.
