Aside from the show being forced to take a vacation for several months, it’s probably safe to say that one of the major reasons that a fair amount of us are looking forward to Gotham‘s midseason premiere is because we expected that Jerome Valeska would heavily factor into it, right? After all, not only was he involved in the midseason finale’s cliffhanger, but he’s been prominently featured in promos and social media teasers in the time since.
Well, unfortunately, it looks like we’ll likely have to wait until the episode to follow to see what lies ahead for Jerome and how this whole “birthing” of the Joker will come about. And that’s because as you can plainly see, there’s no mention of him at all in the official synopsis for “A Dark Knight: Pieces of a Broken Mirror”:
