Los Angeles, March 27 (Ians) ‘Say My Name’ hitmaker Bebe Rexha shared on social media that she got a mail with “used toilet paper” in it.
The 33-year-old shared on Twitter an image that showed what appeared to be toilet paper next to a letter she got in the mail, which was shipped from Miami, reports aceshowbiz.com.
In the caption, she wrote, “Someone mailed me used toilet paper,” adding a sick emoji.
Many have since reacted to the picture.
One Twitter user jokingly told Bebe to “sniff it,” to which she replied, “no way.”
Someone else, meanwhile, urged her to wash her hands. In response, the musician wrote, “Bro I washed them like 10 times.”
Another individual asked Bebe whether she usually receives strange packages in the mail. She answered it by writing, “No this is insane. Like wtf.”
On the work front, Bebe announced her third studio album earlier this month.

Here come the 2022 Emmys celebrating the best in television! The primetime ceremony will take place on a Monday night this year due to an NBC football conflict, so you can turn your Sunday blues into Monday anticipation. The Creative Arts Emmys have already taken place, but they will air on Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Fxx.
Many Hollywood figures edged closer to the coveted Egot after this year’s Creative Arts Emmy, which honored “outstanding artistic and technical achievement.” Adele is one of many winners after her “Adele: One Night Only” concert pre-taped at the Griffith Observatory won every award it was up for.
One of the best parts of any awards show is of course the red carpet, where stars show up in fashion ensembles of all kinds. Arrivals increase anticipation of the ceremony, as do interviews with the forces behind TV’s biggest hits. Fans of nominated shows,...

Another year, same pandemic — but the Emmys are going to keep on doing their thing even so. Last year’s remote Emmys was easily the best major awards show of the 2020-21 awards seasons, but this year will be in person at the Microsoft Theatre in Downtown LA — but without the usual packed house.
And the in-person ceremony means the red carpet is back after the Emmys skipped that particular detail in 2020. And you’ll have two options for checking out all the glam celebs, with a potential third.
The Emmys ceremony itself will be broadcast on CBS, but the network doesn’t have a red carpet pre-show scheduled thanks to the late afternoon NFL game it’ll be airing on Sunday. It’s possible, if the game ends early enough, that CBS will take us to the Emmys carpet, but don’t bet on that happening.

People (the TV Show!) is eying an expansion. Sony Pictures Television has partnered with Meredith Corporation for the nationwide distribution of the new daily half-hour newsmagazine program inspired by the People brand, which features a combination of celebrity, entertainment, and human-interest stories.
Following Meredith Corp.’s $2.8 billion acquisition of Time Inc., Meredith in 2019 announced a daily syndicated show build around one of the newly bought magazine titles, People, to launch in the fall of 2020 on the 16 local TV stations owned by Meredith, which reach 11% of the country and cover markets like Atlanta, Phoenix, St. Louis, Portland, Or, and Nashville. The plan was for the weeknight program to seek additional clearances on stations beyond Meredith’s footprint, depending on the initial performance of the show.

Here we are once again. It’s time for the Primetime Emmys, the biggest Hollywood awards show that takes place outside of awards season. It’s a nice reprieve after the doldrums of summer.
And, as you undoubtedly know since you’re reading this article, it’s also one of the only big red carpet events not in the winter. So you can get your fix of celebs hanging out while wearing really nice and/or outlandish and/or crazy outfits by tuning in.
While there’s only one red carpet, there are several Emmys preshows you can check out, as always. There’s the official Emmys red carpet show on Fox ahead of the broadcast of the actual ceremony on that network. There’s the usual E! “Live From the Red Carpet” show. And there’s the free People and Entertainment Weekly red carpet show that has become a staple of these awards shows.

The British royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — the first American princess in generations — is a global-zeitgeist event made-to-order for social media.
For the first time, social media will play an enormous role in how people consume (and react to) every last detail of Harry and Meghan’s historic knot-tying festivities. The U.K.’s last royal wedding — the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton — was seven years ago. Back then, Snapchat didn’t even exist, while Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter had yet to fully blossom.
“It’s a completely different world from 2011,” said Rashida Jones, senior VP of specials for NBC News. “We didn’t have a social-media team the last time we did this.”
Sure, there’s going to be wall-to-wall TV coverage of Meghan-Harry in the States, the U.K., and elsewhere. But social media has changed news organizations’ strategies both in terms of...

With the 69th annual Emmy Awards around the corner, here’s a brief rundown of the show’s glamorous history.
The first Emmy Awards ceremony was held January 25, 1949 at the Hollywood Athletic Club in Los Angeles, and tickets cost only $5 — yes, five $1 bills. What a world to live in!
Louis McManus created the award we know today — a woman with wings holding an atom. Statuettes cost $400 and take five and a half hours to make. Each golden lady is molded and then coated in copper, nickel, silver and gold.
And the shocking part? Certain winners have to pay to keep the award!
