Can you say Nightmare on Elm Street knock-off? If you can then you probably don’t need to watch The 11th Patient, which mines all the terrifying dream sequences found in those films and recycles them in the story of a kid trapped in a coma. Only these filmmakers can’t even make a body in a plastic bag look scary!
The official synopsis goes like this: “A boy is found in a coma deep in the woods several months after his kidnapping. The man that kidnapped him is still at large and Steven is the only person who witnessed and survived the ordeal. Now, Steven has been brought to a Doctor who specializes in Ptsd patients. He must connect to Steven and make him...

Pretty much anything and everything that can be done with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise has been done with it, over the years. A handful of sequels to Tobe Hooper's 1974 classic have told stories of the further adventures of Leatherface and his twisted family, and the reboot button was hit on the franchise back in 2003 - a remake that got its own prequel a few years later. Most recently, this year's Texas Chainsaw 3D disregarded the remake and its prequel and picked up directly after the events of Leatherface's original outing, adding yet another layer to one of the most bizarre cases in the annals of (fictional) American history.
So, what's next? Well, one filmmaker/fan has taken it upon himself to head further back in time than any of the Chainsaw sequels/prequels have ever delved, putting together an impressive concept trailer for a film that chronicles Leatherface's childhood.

There is a new promotional trailer (see below) for this idea titled The Best There Ever Was and it is a prequel to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. A man by the name of Derek Cole, who…...

It seems that Revenant has become quite the popular film title recently. Aside from the horror-comedy zombie buddy flick starring David Anders and the revenge drama scheduled to film later this year with Sean Penn and Leonardo DiCaprio currently attached, we've just gotten word of an entirely new Revenant-entitled film. And this one focuses on a haunted house.
Produced by 2 Man Productions and Crc Digital Entertainment, Revenant is directed by Derek Cole (The Mutilation Man director) and stars Cain Clifton and Stephen Twardokus.
There's not a ton of information on this one yet, but you can visit the Revenant website and poke around a bit (give them a little time; it's still mostly under construction). Take a look at the trailer below. Pretty creepy stuff. Filming is scheduled to wrap later this year.
And with "Revenant" popping up all over, I had to look up the definition. If you're unsure,...

Derek Cole alongside his brother Shane Cole are the directors behind the recent "Saw" / "I Know What You Did Last Summer" inspired horror film "M" starring Stephen Twardokus, Sabrina Carmichael, Jon Gale, Jaime Seibert, Rich Lowe, Ed Cole, Russ Kobrin, Jessica Lowe and Denise Gossett. Derek and Shane Cole created a film that was competently made and acted. "M" was made on a budget of just $3000, yet the film looked like it cost far more money to produce and featured special effects that transcended the film's budget. The fact that "M" was produced for so little, yet was well made on such a tiny budget, makes one wonder what these brothers are capable of if they had a bigger budget and better facilities to make their own brand of horror films. So over here at Big Daddy Horror Reviews, we are keeping an eye out on these possible up and...
