Skott Francis
Skott was born October 4, 1979 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He's half
Danish, half Spanish, educated in the UK but raised in the Latin way.
He speaks English, Spanish, and French and now lives in Marbella, on
Spain's illustrious Costa del Sol. Skott's hobbies include Xtreme
Sports, rugby, weight training, swimming, reading, and driving, but his
true passions in life are his music and the people closest to him.
Skott started on the road into the music industry in 2000, but music has been with him for as long as he can remember. As a young boy he was hugely influenced by Elvis, as most people were. Later he found Stevie Wonder, Marvyn Gaye, Ella Fitzgerald, and Terence Trent D'Arby. The voices that influence him today include Boyz To Men, AzYet, SWV, Brian McKnight, and Mariah Carey, as well as Babyface and Musiq Soulchild.
Skott has spent this last year writing and recording his new album, entitled "Sounds of Pleasure." On this album, Skott has managed to collaborate with some great writers and producers. Stevie van Lange, who recently scored a No. 1 hit with Blue, has turned some of her vast expertise on to several tracks on the album. There's Ross Anderson and Jeff Scantlebury, a team who, between them, have worked with acts such as Stevie Wonder, Brand New Heavies, Gorillaz, Soul II Soul, and Tony Delaney, who recently helped Liberty X reach No. 2 spot. Skott's collaborators all come from a varied and diverse musical background, and, with a few exceptions, have been working with music for longer than Skott has been alive. Having access to so much talent and experience has helped Skott produce a debut album that will stand the test of time, and truly shows what Skott is about.
