Sue Ann Taylor is the creative force behind The Vindication of Teri Horton, Christmas at the Grey Horse Inn , and Charlie's Christmas Wish, a family holiday feature film that is ultimately about homeless veterans (release by Lionsgate in 2020).
She has been producing award-winning film and video for over 40 years. Taylor has led Blue Heron Films, a film and television production company since 1999; owns Georgia Production Support, a concierge service company for the film industry.
She has received the New York Festival Award, GMB Entertainment Award, 41 Telly Awards, 3 Emmy nominations, and other awards. She has produced multiple syndicated television series including Jim Fowler's Life in the Wild and Keeping it Wild, and was broadcast producer of The Drama Desk Awards. For the Roku and Apple TV, Taylor is known for creating niche networks including the Quilters News Network (QNN), Quilters TV, and more recently; NuYu Network, Opera Network TV, Comedy Commando and Choosing Green.
Blue Heron Films has several films and series in development or production, including Christmas at the Grey Horse Inn, Side Trails, The Vindication of Teri Horton, Etowah Ridge, The Widow Plan, Appalachian Summer and Diary of the Dragon's Daughter.
Taylor was also the recipient of the 2019 Film Industry Producer of the Year Award, presented at the Pinewood Studios by the Atlanta Business Journal.
