Vincent Diderot was born in Toulouse (France) in 1980. After graduating
in visual and performing Arts, he quits University to devote himself to
short films' directing. His "encounter" with a disused factory in South
of France will soon lead him to start shooting. Influenced by painters
(Pollock, Basquiat, Bacon), as well as by film directors (Lynch,
Kubrick, Burton, Gilliam), his first two short films, Louise (2005) and
Sirène (2006), are experimental. His third short film, The revelation
(2008), more narrative, will be a success in France and abroad (Lund
Fantastic Film Festival, Fantasia in Montreal, Trouville,...), mainly
thanks to his fine-worked scenery and atmosphere. Since 2009 Vincent
Diderot shares his time between movie clips for renowned record labels
and movie projects for Ad Astra Films.
