Lilah Ruth

Born Lilah Alexis Ruth on January 20, 1998 in Tallahassee,
Florida. Lilah is the youngest member of a family who all love to have
fun, act silly & entertain. Lilah loves to write stories, paint & draw
illustrations, swim, play the drums, horseback riding, hunting,
fishing, go on RV trips with the family and is an awesome Basketball
player. Lilah is your normal 4th Grader who is always on the honor
roll. She is currently enrolled in Gifted Classes at her school and is
extremely mature for her young age. She is very quick to memorize lines
& has performed in numerous community theatre plays. Her most recent
main character role was that of The Royal Marriage Broker in the play
The Little Mermaid in the Missoula Children's Theatre in Montana in
November, 2007.
Lilah's film career started at age 7 with a small role in a short thesis film by a Florida State University Graduated student, Greg Jardin. Lilah plays young Josephine in The Film, The Problem with Fiber Optics which went on to win First Place Comedy at the 27th Annual Academy of Television Arts and Sciences College Awards in Los Angeles. The film also won the 2006 Grand Jury Award for Best Student Film at the DC Independent Film Festival, in Washington DC as well as First Place Student Film at the Ojai Film Festival, Ojai, California October 2005 and the Top Finalist Award at the Brouhaha Student film Showcase, Maitland, Florida October 2005.
Lilah went on to play other small roles in in several Thesis Film shorts by Graduate Students such as A Grocery Store by John D'Arco, Sirah by Cristine Spindler, and Inner Sight by Erika B. Arguello. She also volunteered countless hours to acting in other Graduate student films at the FSU Film School.
Lilah & her family live in Montana . Her family includes her Mother Pam Ruth, Father Robert Ruth, 14 year old sister Miranda Ruth & 16 year old brother Casey Ruth. The entire family enjoys playing together and continue to post silly videos on Will Ferrell's Funny or Die Website where their films have gained in popularity.
Lilah has also worked in commercial print appearing in advertisements in local newspapers & magazines in Florida and Alabama. She loves music & talking and made 2 guest appearances in the Spring 2007 on the radio show KROCK The Freak Show with T.J. Kelly in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
Lilah is ready to take the next big step to do feature length film or perhaps television and is looking for representation from an agency.
