Doctor Who handles a recasting like no other show - ever since 1966, when William Hartnell gave way to Patrick Troughton, the show's ingenious concept of regeneration has seen it survive and thrive despite multiple recastings of its lead role...

[1] Glee may be getting a high-profile guest star next season. Anne Hathaway first expressed her desire to come on the show last fall, and show creator Ryan Murphy confirmed [2] to press this past January that he planned to have the actress on the show, possibly in the role of Kurt's (Chris Colfer) lesbian aunt. However, several months later, Hathaway's still waiting for the call from Murphy, so she decided to call Murphy out on a recent interview. Hathaway recounted the story to Buzz Sugar [3]: Ryan Murphy goes, "Anne Hathaway! Come on Glee." And I said, "Yes!" and he said "Fab, I’ll call you." He went back to the press room and said, "Anne Hathaway is going to be on the show." And I never heard from him again. Ryan Murphy, I’m calling you out: I want to be on Glee. I’ve got my songs picked out.

The fifth season of Mad Men will feature a new actor in the role of Bobby Draper. The son of Don (Jon Hamm) and Betty (January Jones) has previously been played by Maxwell Huckabee, Aaron Hart and Jared Gilmore. Gilmore, the latest actor to play the character, has departed the AMC drama for a recurring role on ABC series Once Upon A Time. Asked if he had any advice for his replacement, Gilmore told TV Guide: "Be careful around January [Jones]. She's not as approachable as the others." He continued: "She's really serious about what she does. [But] everyone else is so (more)...

The Deep End, the new midseason show from ABC, premieres on January 21st. Normally, I might say something along the lines "oh, no…..not another law show". But I've fallen in love with The Good Wife, so I'm not as skeptical lately.
Plus, I just took a look at the promo photos for the pilot episode and realized that this show stars Billy Zane. Billy Zane! Dude is badass. I don't know why, I just love him. And you know that if a walk-off breaks out in the show, Billy Zane will be around to call it. So things are already looking up.
Oh, and for all you Twilight fans, that chick who got fired from the third movie is making a guest appearance in the pilot episode on January 21st. Check out the photos below. I'm hoping to get some video previews for you all soon.
