Sidi Henderson

Sidi Henderson was born in
Cincinnati, Ohio. His most recent character appears in Block Party (2022) and the 2020 Sundance Film Festival feature,
Dinner in America (2020). He's also appeared in,
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016),
Sparkle (2012),
The Owner (2012) and
Misled (2015). He lived in Detroit for
several years before moving to Washington D.C.
Sidi moved back to Michigan in the early 80's, where he studied Broadcasting and Theatre at Central Michigan University. There, he booked concerts, chaired the university's entertainment organization, began his voice acting career cutting spots for radio stations and trained in the Theatre Department. He also co-founded and played bass guitar in the rock band, Civilians, releasing six recordings and touring around the east coast and mid west, where he developed a thorough understanding of the music business.
After graduation, Sidi worked on air and as a producer in Detroit radio while acting in industrial films and voicing national radio and TV commercials. He made his film debut co-starring with Judd Nelson in the psychological thriller, Nevermore (2007). When not acting, Sidi assists best-selling author Mitch Albom as Creative Audio Producer for the Mitch Albom Radio Show on WJR in Detroit. In addition he occasionally sits in as lead singer of Detroit's premiere horn band, Mainstreet Soul. He also plays bass guitar with other groups including Mr. Seley and the Troublemakers, a band that specializes in original rock music for kids. Sidi lives in Detroit with his wife, Kim and looks forward to continuing the long line of success stories from the Motor City
