- Has been declared to be great fan and admirer of directors David Lynch, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Federico Fellini, Luis Buñuel, and the surreal and expressionist art movements and works of the film world as one of his prime interests.
- Usually works with director and long-time friend Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas and Composer Vinicius Calvitti.
- Brother of Adriana Almeida who worked as still photographer and actress in the short-film Noite no Mixam (2005) directed by her brother Frandu Almeida. Although Adriana Almeida has been related to Frandu's work on several occasions, her real profession is being a dentist.
- Is known to be a great fan of the Beatles, especially George Harrison, and therefore uses much inspiration, music composition and themes inspired by their music in his films. Also relates himself to the friendship of Beatle George Harrison and Musician Eric Clapton as his relationship with Director Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas.
- Has two dogs named Lolly and Ringo. The name Ringo is after Beatle Ringo Starr, and Lolly was a name given by his sister Adriana Almeida. Later on long-time friend and film collaborator 'Estevam Allevato' saw the dogs and liked the race so much that he now has a dog named 'Luna'.
- Graduated from Publicity from the university PUC-Rio in Rio de Janeiro in the same class and year than Casting Director Tiago Cordeiro and Actress Juliana Ferraz with who he worked in the short-film Noite no Mixam (2005) as Director.
- Although not known to many, he is a great and major fan of the Spider-man character and comics.
- In 2004 co-founded the production company entitled Groovy Filmes [br] together with long-time friends and collaborators Roberto Peralta, Estevam Allevato and Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas.
- Had a car nicknamed "Chicomobil" which was sold. Later, he bought a second car, which was then baptized "Chicomobil II". This element appears in the full-feature film "Poliamore (2007)", which Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas co-wrote and directs.
- In the night of the film premiere for Noite no Mixam (2005), his car, which had been parked close to the film theater was seriously robbed and damaged.
- In the year 2004 he co-founded the production company entitled Groovy Filmes with long-time friends director Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas and producers Estevam Allevato and Roberto Peralta. Later in 2005 the production board was formed by Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas, Carlos Lacerda, Felipe Vasconcellos and himself. As of 2007 Andres Nicolás substituted 'Felipe Vasconcellos' and the Production Company is co-operated in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires with two Production Company members in each country.
Since the creation of the production company they have produced several short-films, a half-length feature, a documentary and a full-length feature still in production nowadays. - Close friends with Rodrigo Rueda Terrazas, Javier Insausti, Ana Carolina Campos, Roberto Peralta, Estevam Allevato, Milagros Ogando Rivas and Cecilia Rueda Terrazas.
- Since 2006 has been living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he studies Film School Advance Studies in the Argentinian Film School Escula de Cine Eliseo Subiela.
- Studying his master studies in filmmaking in the prestigious Argentinean school "Escuela Profesional de Cine de Eliseo Subiela" in Buenos Aires where he lives at the moment and has been for the past year. And also co-producing and acting as cinematographer for the film "Poliamore" (2006) (working title). (May 2006)
