Scott Eastwood, the son of legendary actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood, has carved his own path in Hollywood. But he always stated that his father’s influence went beyond the glitz and glamor of the entertainment industry.
Although the 38-year-old went on to follow in his father’s footsteps, he revealed that his father never pushed him to do it. In fact, the 94-year-old could not have cared less about what his son did as long as he was happy and doing a good job.

While the younger Eastwood was allowed to choose whatever profession he wanted, he revealed that his father only had one main piece of advice for him to follow, no matter what.

Glen Powell is aptly one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood today. While his debut came way back in Spy Kids in 2003, the 35-year-old has seen multiple successful roles come his way in the last few years. Now looking forward to the release of Twisters, Powell has appeared in movies such as Anyone But You and Top Gun: Maverick, and generally finds himself in high demand.
However, that did not seem true to the actor when during his years of struggle. Powell went to his fair share of failed auditions but has never been the kind of person who would take things negatively. The actor has been utterly professional right from the start, and spent years getting rejected for a plethora of major roles.

To break the norm, one of his agents even gave him a peculiar piece of advice.

Francesca Eastwood is more than just a media fixture. The name, however, has taken quite the tumble in the last few days, with her arrest on a felony domestic violence charge and the imminent fallout. While the details of the incident remain elusive for many, it is also naturally raising a few eyebrows.

Francesca is one of Clint Eastwood’s eight children. Her mother, Frances Fisher, is perhaps best known for her role as Ruth DeWitt Bukater in Titanic (1997). Fisher and Clint Eastwood met in 1988, during the pre-production party for Pink Cadillac, never wed, and split by 1995, when Fisher started going out with George Clooney.
Clint Eastwood, meanwhile, is still chugging on. Almost seventy years into his career, the 94-year-old’s Juror #2 will be out in November 2024, a film in which his daughter Francesca plays a role.

There are still so many unanswered questions as to what exactly went down with Jamie Foxx when he experienced a “medical complication” back in April 2023. And while Foxx can disclose anything he chooses and has called this a “personal journey”, it has left fans in the dark even as he continues making public appearances. Now that Jamie Foxx has concluded his three-night run of shows dubbed One More Chance, he is detailing what it took to get back on the stage.
While celebrating backstage at one of the shows, Jamie Foxx told those around him, “It was an excruciating time to be able to open those wounds every single day for three nights. It was excruciating because the worry is what gets you. We’ve got a great show in the room, but we don’t know what they may laugh or what they may not laugh at. Any comedian...

Clint Eastwood's Hollywood career officially began in 1955 when he made a brief, uncredited appearance as a lab technician in Jack Arnold's "Revenge of the Creature." Nine years later, unhappy as a midlevel television star on the CBS Western series "Rawhide," he jetted off to Spain to make a different kind of Western with a very different kind of director named Sergio Leone. The result, "A Fistful of Dollars," changed the face of the genre forever, and set Eastwood down the path to becoming a filmmaker in his own right.
Eastwood's directing career got off to a curiously assured start with the wildly suspenseful thriller "Play Misty for Me," in which the tough, swaggering star of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "Dirty Harry" played a victimized Bay Area disc jockey. No one expected this from Eastwood, and it's fair to say no one saw this hugely...

The MCU is gearing up to introduce the Mutants, something we’ve known since Disney acquired Fox. While you could argue that the Mutants have already made a few brief appearances, the X-Men themselves haven’t yet entered the MCU.
Although their full debut is still some time away, Marvel has promised a major introduction in the future.
Even though we don’t know all the details, it’s clear that Feige and Marvel are taking their time to get it right. The X-Men’s arrival in the MCU will be a major moment and will shape the franchise for years to come.
Given the importance of this debut, fans are understandably anxious about who Marvel will cast. With an already-established X-Men universe, comparisons between the old and new casts are inevitable.

There are moments in Ariel Vroman’s historical drama-heist thriller “1992” that speak volumes, but one that stands out comes from the late Ray Liotta. “1992” was the actor’s last film, and his performance is first rate and terrifying.
Liotta plays Lowell, a safecracker about to steal millions of dollars in precious metals from a factory on April 29, 1992: the day the Los Angeles Uprising began. As the streets fill with righteous anger and windows shatter and fires burn, this career criminal and abusive father, literally en route to commit a felony, looks out at the Black people raging against generations of injustice and — oblivious to any irony — declares that their grievance “doesn’t give them the right to do this. That’s other people’s property.”

Due to the sheer lack of compelling options, “Deadpool & Wolverine” is expected to top the box office in its sixth weekend of release.
Several movies will open nationwide — the Dennis Quaid-led biopic “Reagan” and Sony and Blumhouse’s AI horror fable “Afraid” among them — but none are projected to make a dent on box office charts over the Labor Day holiday weekend. Those newcomers are aiming for low-single digits and will be lucky to crack the top five, which looks to be populated with holdovers such as “Alien: Romulus” and romantic drama “It Ends With Us.”
In what’s shaping up to be one of the slowest weekends of the year, Disney’s Marvel sequel “Deadpool & Wolverine” looks to rule with $12 million to $13 million over the extended holiday frame. The R-rated film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has claimed the No. 1 spot for four out of the past five weekends.

Suicide Squad was released in August 2016, just a few short months after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hit theaters. Zack Snyder's movie had a huge opening weekend (despite negative reviews), but a shocking second-weekend drop sent Warner Bros. into panic mode.
As a result, Suicide Squad received a drastic overhaul with the addition of colourful graphics, catchy pop songs, and a "happy ending" in place of the original, much darker dynamic between The Joker and Harley Quinn.
While the #ReleaseTheAyerCut movement has never been quite as popular as #ReleaseTheSnyderCut - which ultimately led to Zack Snyder's Justice League dropping on HBO Max - a great many fans are desperate to see David Ayer's original version of Suicide Squad.
The filmmaker continues to talk about that on social media and has shared several glimpses of what might have been.

The Writers Guild of America West is prohibiting its members from working with producer Steve Small and his company Fifty Feet Movie, LLC.
The union notified members on Wednesday that it had placed Small, a former Paradigm agent and Emmett/Furla Films executive who has produced the indies The Hungover Games (2014), Cash Out (2024) and the upcoming Armored, and his company Fifty Feet Movie, LLC on its Strike/Unfair List. The union’s rules bar members from working with individuals or companies on the list or risk a fine. Until this decision, Fifty Feet Movie, LLC was a signatory to the union’s main contract, called the minimum basic agreement.
The union provided multiple reasons for the move. The union claims it determined that Fifty Feet Movie, LLC “was not financially responsible and is unlikely to meet its Mba [minimum basic agreement] obligations” on several titles including Cash Out and the upcoming Alarum and The Epiphany,...

Lionsgate is going back to the early 1990s this summer, with help from Tyrese Gibson and Snoop Dogg.
The company announced Monday that it will release director Ariel Vromen’s crime thriller 1992 in theaters Aug. 30. Snoop Dogg has boarded the feature as executive producer through his Death Row Pictures production company, with Gibson (known for the Fast & Furious franchise) starring alongside Scott Eastwood and the late Ray Liotta in one of his final movie roles.
As seen in the trailer below, 1992 stars Gibson as Mercer, who is attempting to restart his life and patch things up with his son (Christopher Ammanuel) at the time of the Los Angeles uprising over the Rodney King verdict. Meanwhile, Mercer is about to encounter a father and son (Liotta and Eastwood) who are aiming to steal catalytic converters from the factory where Mercer works.
Vromen (The Iceman) directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Sascha Penn.

A couple years ago, the term “nepo baby” took the internet by storm, with many latching onto the buzzword as a way to bash celebrities who have apparently benefited from their famous parents. Not surprisingly, it didn’t take long for things to turn ugly, with Jamie Lee Curtis – daughter of Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis – calling for peace. This lasted about as long as it took to read her quote. The nepo baby debate is still a hot one, but now Emma Roberts – daughter of Eric and niece to Julia – has a take that might open some more eyes…or piss more people off.
Appearing on Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi (via THR), Emma Roberts said that most nepo baby attacks are geared towards women in the industry despite there also being prominent males who could fall under the label. “I always joke I’m like, ‘Why is...

Hugh Jackman "retired" as Wolverine after James Mangold's Logan, but the actor was convinced to reprise the role for a team-up with Ryan Reynolds' Merc With a Mouth in next month's Deadpool and Wolverine.
We don't know if Jackman will stay on as the iconic clawed mutant after the R-rated threequel, but rumors persist that he will return for at least one more movie (most likely Avengers: Secret Wars). It's always possible that the Aussie actor will stick around as the McU's Wolverine going forward, but we are more likely to see a younger actor step into the role down the line.
We're not sure if Marvel Studios has anyone in mind, but several actors have emerged as fan-favorite picks, including Kingsman and Rocket Man star Taron Egerton - who also happens to be the current bookies' favorite.
Here's the full list with betting odds via Sportscasting.com.

Being an actor means losing out on many, many roles, especially when you are just starting out. Glen Powell knows this agonizing truth all too well. The actor was initially known for his role in Scream Queens (2015-2016), where he played Chad Radwell. However, he gained worldwide fame and recognition only after playing Hangman in Top Gun: Maverick (2022). He then went on to star in his own rom-com, Anyone but You (2023) opposite the gorgeous Sydney Sweeney.
