*full disclosure: Red Hound Films is an advertiser on this site. Director/writer: Hans Stjernswärd. Cast: Nora Yessayan, Alec Gaylord, Ken Volok and Kelly Mis. Another day; another cannibal film. This latest horror release, titled The Farm, is from director and writer Hans Stjernsward. Recently released on Digital platforms via Red House Films (Nov. 18th), this indie horror title focuses on one couple and one troubling meat farm. Unfortunately for Nora (Nora Yessayan) and Alec (Alec Gaylord), this is a human meat farm. Influenced by Tobe Hooper's anti-animal cruelty film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), this latest interpretation juxtaposes humans with animals. The anti-meat murder message slowly winds its way into the narrative as the main characters struggle to escape their caged existence. Very surreal, The Farm is dialogue-light through Act II; the result is a head-scratcher. Overall, The Farm will not satisfy the appetite of most horror fans. The Farm is another horror.

"In this place, you are the main dish." First there was Human Centipede, now there is The Farm. Although some reviews say this is much more like the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. From writer/director Hans Stjernswärd, The Farm is a horrifying horror film about a young couple, played by Nora Yessayan and Alec Gaylord, who get kidnapped and treated like farm animals after stopping at a roadside diner to eat meat. The full cast also includes Ken Volok, Rob Tisdale, and Kelly Mis. This looks and sounds about as disgusting as they come, and the footage looks seriously off-putting. Even the reviews aren't great either. I don't know how this kind of gross stuff gets made, but it does, and it'll be released next month. Bon appetit. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Hans Stjernswärd's The Farm, direct from YouTube: While on a road trip, a young...

A new cannibal farm is releasing later the year. Titled The Farm, this film was developed by director Hans Stjernswärd. The film's first trailer has been released and it shows a couple trapped, then imprisoned in cages. It looks like some of the diner meat might be of the human kind. The Farm stars: Nora Yessayan, Alec Gaylord, Ken Volok, Rob Tisdale and Kelly Mis. This title had its World Premiere at the Overlook Film Festival, earlier this year. And, the film's full trailer is hosted below. As well, a new concept poster was released for The Farm. It shows one character bound and tied to a chain. The body parts are labelled and the figure is headless. The Farm promises to be one of the most brutal films of the year. More release details will come this way soon. However, The Farm. has not secured a release date, in North America.
