Sam Wright(IV)
- Director
Director Sam Wright became interested in filmmaking after his mother
purchased a family video camera. The Indianapolis native quickly took
ownership of the camera and was soon dubbed "The Camera Man" by his
high school Radio/TV broadcast classmates.
Wright got his start editing and producing public service announcements and corporate and music videos for the Indianapolis 500, the Indiana Black Expo and Boehringer Mannheim. In 1994, Wright co-founded Montage Communication, now The Montage Corporation, an independent motion picture production company.
After graduating from Columbia College, a School of film in Chicago, Illinois, Wright moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and set into motion his dream of becoming a successful writer/producer/director. While in Phoenix, he obtained a masters degree in education from Ottawa University. Wright divides his time between filmmaking, Montage and serving as program director for a vocational school, where he oversees the video production department.
