Did you know that one of the most hilarious scenes in Disney+’s Hawkeye was improvised? Marvel stars Florence Pugh and Hailee Steinfeld are not only talented but quick-witted actresses as well. Because of this one particular improvisation, it made the whole scene a lot better.

Of course, fans will never forget the king of improvisations within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of Robert Downey Jr.’s unscripted lines even changed the entire direction of the franchise. Because of this, the second generation of heroes in the MCU keeps his legacy alive.

Marvel Cinematic Universe movies have caught a lot of flack in recent years for the sheer amount of silliness and gags muddling up the various film and TV plots. There's no doubt there are a lot of MCU jokes that haven't aged well, and as the franchise has continued, the quips seem to have become more and more frequent — something that will no doubt reach a fever pitch with the upcoming "Deadpool & Wolverine."
But there was a time when one-liners and wisecracks were used more sparingly and played a crucial role in the success of the MCU. This element of the franchise led directly to the hit that was "Thor: Ragnarok," in which Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige entrusted director Taika Waititi with reinventing Chris Hemsworth's Thor as a more comedic persona. This was due to the Aussie star's penchant for improv, which he'd demonstrated in both "Thor" and its sequel,...

TLC fans say that Seeking Sister Wife couple Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield owe Roberta money. For those unfamiliar with the show, they had been courting Roberta who resided in Brazil. At the last minute, she ditched the couple and did not come to America. So, why should they compensate Roberta? Keep reading for all of the details.
TLC Fans Say Dannielle & Garrick Merrifield Owe Roberta Money
When Season 4 of Seeking Sister Wife ended, Dannielle and Garrick were left brokenhearted. They had invested so much into Roberta including getting a divorce. By doing so, Garrick could marry Roberta to get and keep her in America. Garrick and Bert even tried to conceive a child but she decided she did not want to leave her mother in Brazil. To the Merrifields, it felt like years down the drain plus so much emotional torture. For Roberta, she came out and claimed that she...

Manic, magic, madcap … Julie Andrews is superb in the role of the flying nanny, in a film filled with amazing songs
Brilliant, entrancing, exhausting, and with thermonuclear showtunes from Richard and Robert Sherman, Disney’s hybrid live-action/animation classic from 1964 is now rereleased on home entertainment platforms for its 60th anniversary. And it has a brand-new certificate from the BBFC: upgraded from a U to a PG on account of “discriminatory language” from the eccentric seadog character Admiral Boom, who fires a cannon from his roof shouting “Fight the Hottentots!” (an obsolete term for South Africa’s indigenous Khoekhoe people). However the BBFC is evidently not bothered by the foxhunting scene in which the fox has a cod Irish accent, nor by the cheerful suicide reference made by one of the servants: “Nice spot there by Southwark Bridge, very popular with jumpers!”

Seeking Sister Wife Dannielle Merrifield Holding On For Clout?
Dannielle Merrifield knew her marriage was rocky to Garrick Merrifield prior to Seeking Sister Wife. Then, he claimed that he got a calling from a higher power to open up their marriage. This was not at all what his wife wanted and she expressed this. She shared that she had to pray a lot to finally come to a point where she could accept this lifestyle. They found their first potential wife, Roberta from Brazil but after two seasons, she made it clear that she was never following through. More so, they build their dream polygamist home only to have been used.

Seeking Sister Wife fans are convinced that Garrick Merrifield is a full-blown “psychopath.” This season, he is back with his wife, Dannielle Merrifield and they are courting a new woman. So, why are fans calling out Garrick so harshly? Read on for more details.
Seeking Sister Wife Fans Convinced Garrick Full-Blown ‘Psychopath’
Garrick Merrifield has always rubbed Seeking Sister Wife fans the wrong way. He came on and said God led him to a plural lifestyle. Yet, he and his wife, Dannielle Merrifield were already having some marital issues. She did not want to open up their marriage so it took a lot of praying in order for her to agree to start the search. They did find a Brazilian woman named Roberta but that was a tad shady. Garrick and Bert were intimate yet welcomed Dannielle into the bed shortly thereafter. She wasted their time, used them, and then ditched the couple.

Bert's diagnosis was inevitable, but that didn't make it any easier to bear.
Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 6 left me in tears... again. There's something about Alzheimer's stories that gets to me, and this one was done exceptionally well.
It didn't take up that much of the hour, but it was even more impactful.
Bert's anger, paranoia, and forgetfulness suggested something was going on. If it weren't Alzheimer's, it would have been vascular dementia, Lewy Body Dementia, or some other type of cognitive decline.
But the moment the doctor gave Sharon the diagnosis, it hit me as hard as it did her. That was strong writing and acting!
I felt like we were firmly in Sharon's head, absorbing the shock, heartbreak, and overwhelm of hearing the words Alzheimer's dementia.
Her conversation with Charles also broke my heart.
Charles: There are lots of clinical trials and new treatments now. I'm sure we can navigate it.

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from Season 7 of Adult Swim’s “Rick and Morty,” now streaming on Max.
With its Season 7 finale “Fear No Mort” airing in December, “Rick and Morty” was able to close off what had already been a rollercoaster of a season, one that delivered closure to the arcs of our beloved duo, and tying the knot on the series’ main plot thread — while still looking ahead at the uncharted territory left for Rick and Morty to venture to.
The show’s audience seems to have responded to the animated series’ latest offering: Its seventh season was released on Max in January, and according to Warner Bros. Discovery, is tracking about 25% higher than Season 6 in terms of viewing accounts through its first three weeks of availability.
For the first time since it aired, “Rick and Morty” co-creator Dan Harmon and showrunner Scott Marder break down the Season 7 finale,...

Plot: The love story between Rick and Michonne. Changed by a world that is constantly changing, will they find themselves in a war against the living or will they discover that they too are The Walking Dead?
Review: It is hard to believe that it has been fourteen years since The Walking Dead debuted, changing the landscape of zombies on television as well as comic book adaptations on the small screen. After eleven seasons on the air, the flagship series in AMC’s franchise ended in 2022 but not before revealing three successor series featuring members of the original The Walking Dead cast. With Dead City and Daryl Dixon having debuted last year, fans have found the spin-offs to be a mixed bag. It’ll take more than a spoonful of sugar for the “discriminatory language” of 1964’s “Mary Poppins” to be overlooked by the UK’s movie-rating system.
The classic film, which stars Julie Andrews as the titular nanny, has officially been reclassified from a “U” (universal) rating to “PG” (parental guidance) by the British Board of Film Classification. BBC first reported the rating switch.
The reason for the stricter rating more than 50 years later? The Oscar-winning musical includes a “derogatory term originally used by white Europeans about nomadic peoples in southern Africa” in reference to “soot-faced chimney-sweeps,” per the BBC. The term, which historically referenced the the Khoikhoi and San people, is used twice by Admiral Boom (Reginald Owen). Usage of the word is considered offensive today.
Due to its inclusion, the BBFC noted the film “exceeds our guidelines” for a U rating.

The age rating for the 1964 “Mary Poppins” has been increased in the U.K. due to “discriminatory language.”
On Friday, the British Board of Film Classification upped the Disney movie’s cinema rating from U, meaning it contained “no material likely to offend or harm,” to PG for “discriminatory language.”
In a statement to Variety, a BBFC spokesperson said that the film “includes two uses of the discriminatory term ‘hottentots’. While ‘Mary Poppins’ has a historical context, the use of discriminatory language is not condemned, and ultimately exceeds our guidelines for acceptable language at U. We therefore classified the film PG for discriminatory language.”
The word is a racially insensitive term for the Khoekhoe, an indigenous group in South Africa. The BBFC further explained that the word is used in the film by Admiral Boom (Reginald Owen), including when referring to the chimney sweeps whose faces are covered in soot.

Y'all are going to have to give me a minute.
Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 5 brought me to tears several times, which doesn't usually happen. There was just so damn much loss.
Ripley's case was the most heartbreaking but it also did the impossible: it made me like Ripley, at least for now.
Since he arrived at Gaffney, Ripley has been little more than a pain in the ass. He couldn't get past how Charles treated him years ago, seemed always to think he was right, and was so annoying that I was an anti-Ripley/Hannah shipper.
But his reaction to Jimmy's condition softened him.
Understandably, JImmy's medical history shook Ripley to the core. They were both victims of inhumane psychiatric practices as kids.
Ripley's scars are internal, and he doesn't have cognitive impairments. Still, he must have realized that Jimmy's fate could have easily been his own.

Chicago Med is digging deep into Sharon Goodwin’s (S. Epatha Merkerson) life in Season 9, so that means there has to be some drama. After the end of the latest episode, Sharon can’t ignore the fact that there’s reason to be concerned about her ex-husband Bert’s (Greg Alan Williams) memory. In the February 21 episode “I Make A Promise, I Will Never Leave You,” she recruits Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) to evaluate Bert. But Sharon’s romance, with chief of oncology Dr. Dennis Washington (John Earl Jelks), is going strong, which we love to see. TV Insider spoke with Merkerson ahead of the next episode to talk about the Bert situation, the romance with Dennis, and, of course, our favorite relationship on the show: Sharon and Charles. At the end of the last episode, Sharon learns there’s a reason to be concerned about Bert’s memory and she can’t ignore that.

Marcel wasn't kidding when he said Archer was no choir boy.
When he first arrived at Gaffney, Archer purposely let a patient lose consciousness so that he could claim an emergency need to do a procedure the patient didn't consent to—and that was the least of his ethical lapses.
But on Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 4, he berated Zola and Maggie for doing an end-run around an insurance company's denial of service to save a patient's life. Seriously?
His stance would have been reasonable if only he hadn't had the past he had. At the very least, he should have referenced it.
Maybe we're supposed to think that now that he's the head of the Ed, he has a different perspective or that he's grown and changed. But he acted high-and-mighty when he's done far worse, and that weakened any point he might have had.
Sentencing Zola to an ethics...

The Papuan filmmaker Yonri Revolt was at IFFR in 2023 with his debut feature documentary “Mayday! May Day! Mayday!” about the strike of miners from the Grasberg copper mine in Indonesia, and now he is back in Rotterdam with “The Silent Path” a very personal documentary about his adoptive father Lambertus Henricus Hagendoorn, aka Pater Bert, a Dutch Catholic priest who was in service in Papua over 50 years.
The Silent Path is screening at International Film Festival Rotterdam
Upon the clerics's return to the Netherlands only few years ago, the filmmaker started reading his diaries in which things he was not aware of were described those of political nature, observations of local people's beliefs and rituals, but also of colonialism and injustices that the priest mostly accepted as they were. "Mary Poppins" has been a beloved children's film since its release in 1964. The musical comedy was a veritable hit among British and American audiences alike and launched the career of the incomparable Julie Andrews, who became one of the brightest stars of the late 20th century.
The Disney classic swept the 1965 Oscars, earning Andrews an Academy Award for her performance and snagging additional awards for visual effects, editing, and music. The film was a great triumph for the studio as well as the stars. It was immediately recognized as the masterpiece that it is and has only retained and strengthened its legendary status with age.
Sadly, as the picture ages, so too do the actors that made it such an unforgettable romp. Very few members of the main cast are still alive today and the ones that haven't made it might surprise you. Glynis Johns, who played suffragette and mother...

When it comes to TV, how comforting is too comforting? At what point do the vibes outweigh the plot? These are the brave questions perhaps not asked but definitely raised by Julian Fellowes’ “The Gilded Age,” which finished its second season on Sunday, December 17. In a review of the full season, IndieWire’s Ben Travers compared the show to “a light drizzle,” saying that “The absence of actual conflict — problems that require more than a polite request to sort out — is so pronounced it threatens to undermine the serene parade of beautiful gowns by boring the pants off of those wearing them.”
And while Mr. Travers has new problems to deal with, “The Gilded Age” did gain a modicum of momentum in its back half and especially its finale, even if the actual plot developments were predictable (and not just from historical accuracy). There is potential here, whether it’s...

Eli Roth just kicked off a new horror franchise with his slasher movie Thanksgiving (read our review Here), as it was recently announced that Thanksgiving 2 is on track for a 2025 release. But while Roth is currently focused on holiday slashing, two franchises he previously created – the Hostel and Cabin Fever franchises – came up while he was sitting down for an interview with CinePOP. And during this interview, he said he hopes to revisit and revive those franchises someday!
Roth told CinePOP, “Hostel, there’s a lot more to do. I’d love to go back to Hostel at some point. And Cabin Fever as well. They’re a part of me, like my children, and I feel like I’ve been ignoring them for too long. I’d love to go back to them, in some way. I have ideas.“

Mabel Mathilda makes everything better.
Listen, if we have to spend time in the present with the Bennett siblings, it works best when we get more exciting aspects, such as the two meeting their biological sister for the first time or Byron's relatable candor with a dash of Benny not being as annoying as usual.
And thankfully, Black Cake Season 1 Episode 6 delivered on that.
It doesn't hurt that we got a dash of Covey and saw how flawed and short-sighted she was as a best friend.
Covey's complexities make this story compelling, so any opportunity to revisit her is always welcomed. And did we mention that Mia Isaac is magic? Yeah, we did, but let's repeat it anyway.
On the flashback front, we glimpse some of the tension between Covey and Bunny as best friends because of Covey's attempt to "protect" Bunny from her homosexuality.

After 2023’s earlier surprise comedic family gem You Are Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah, Adam Sandler and his Happy Madison Productions have done it again for Netflix, this time in the delightful and remarkably wise CGI animated feature Leo. It is a charmer for kids and their parents who get a few lessons here along the way as well.
Sandler voices 74-year-old Iguana, Leo, as if he were about to take the lectern at a Friar’s Roast. Leo has lived his whole life on display in a fifth grade classroom with revolving groups of kids since the 1940s. Next to him is Bff Squirtle, a fast talking turtle voiced memorably by Bill Burr. They are kind of the Bert and Ernie of the classroom, talking only to each other, and never revealing to the kids or teachers that they can actually converse with humans too. Leo, for whatever reason,...

There are narrative flourishes and then there are narrative flourishes. And one in the new film from director Amy Glazer (Seducing Charlie Barker, The Surrogate) is a doozy. How much you appreciate this heartwarming drama about a female pilot who discovers that her grandmother may actually be a legendary figure in aviation history will depend on how much you’re willing to go along with its major plot twist, which won’t be revealed here but is relatively easy to figure out. But if you’re willing to suspend some disbelief, 7000 Miles, recently showcased at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, offers myriad pleasures, not the least of which is a terrific performance by Wendie Malick. The veteran sitcom actress (Dream On, Just Shoot Me, Hot in Cleveland) anchors the film with her charismatic turn in a rare leading role that Katharine Hepburn would have killed for.

It’s time for another episode of the Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? video series, and with this one we’re preparing for director Eli Roth’s long-awaited slasher Thanksgiving – which reaches theatres this Friday, November 17th – by looking back at his 2002 feature debut Cabin Fever (watch it Here). To hear all about it, check out the video embedded above.
Directed by Roth from a screenplay he wrote with Randy Pearlstein, Cabin Fever has the following synopsis: Bert, a college student vacationing with friends in the mountains, mistakenly shoots a local man with a skin infection while hunting in the woods. Panicking, he abandons the scene and leaves the man for dead. When the man stumbles into a reservoir, he infects the water supply, and soon one of Bert’s friends becomes infected. The friends struggle to stop the contagious, flesh-eating disease while on the run from a group...

It was an hour that centered the most on the Bennett women.
We've experienced so much of Covey's story in the past that it was time to focus a bit on the family narrative closest to the present.
Black Cake Season 1 Episode 4 shifted much of its focus to giving us more insight into Benny and what happened that fateful Thanksgiving, which changed everything.
By the end of the hour, it was evident that the Bennett women are alike and have a knack for holding onto secrets and carrying the weight of their choices.
The installment also introduced us to peripheral but narratively influential characters with the Bennett siblings' spouses, Steve and Lynette.
We got to know Covey well enough, so it made sense that the story would branch into another direction so we could gain some traction on the Bennett siblings and flesh them out.

“Black Cake” showrunner Marissa Jo Cerar and director Natalia Leite agree that the launch of the series’ first three episodes at once will enhance the audience’s curiosity and keep them watching the show.
Adapted from the bestselling book by Charmaine Wilkerson and executive produced by Oprah Winfrey, “Black Cake” tells the generational story of Covey (Mia Isaac), who has to abandon all traces of her life in order to escape her Jamaican island home in hopes of a better future. The story begins with Covey’s children, who only know their mother by the name “Eleanor Bennett” (Chipo Chung). She’s a woman who grew up in an orphanage in London before moving to Southern California’s Orange County with her husband Bert. Upon the death of their mother, Covey’s son Byron (Ashley Thomas) and daughter Bennedetta — who goes by “Benny” (Adrienne Warren) — reunite after years apart to...

If you’re still feeling very big feelings after Episode 3 of “Lessons in Chemistry,” thanks to some poignant narration from a certain pup, don’t worry — you’re not alone. In fact, directors Bert and Bertie specifically set out to do that. But, they do admit that telling a story of grief through the lens of a dog was “eye-opening,” even for them.
In this particular episode of the Brie Larson-led limited series, now streaming on Apple TV+, the opening minutes tell the origin story of Six Thirty, the dog Elizabeth Zott (Larson) adopted who later tried saving Calvin Evans (Lewis Pullman) from running out into the street to his death. Not only is it a heartbreaking origin — he started as a military dog, but ran away — but the narration that follows, courtesy of B.J. Novak, likely left you holding your own dog close, as Six Thirty mourned his running buddy and blamed himself.

European TV giant ProSiebenSat.1 has restructured its Seven. One Entertainment Group — with the changes seeing top German channel manager Daniel Rosemann exiting after 15 years and the CEO of Joyn also leaving.
The new structure sees ProSiebenSat.1 CEO Bert’s Habets add the same role at Seven. One Entertainment to his duties, and comes as the Unterföhring-based continues its reorganization as a digital-first operation. Some key staff have exited and about 10% of the entire ProSiebenSat.1 workforce have been cut as part of the process.
The new changes see Seven. One Chief Content Officer Henrik Pabst take on an expanded role overseeing content for all channels and platforms and Katharina Frömsdorf upped to lead streamer Joyn as Chief Platforms and Growth Officer. Tassilo Raesig, CEO of Joyn, and René Sahm, CFO and COO of Joyn are exiting by mutual agreement “due to differing views on the future direction of the platform,” according to ProSiebenSat.

For the vast majority of its time on air, :a[The Walking Dead]{href='https://www.empireonline.com/tv/reviews/walking-dead-season-1-review/' target='_blank' rel='noreferrer noopener'} was primarily the story of Rick Grimes. Sure, AMC’s sprawling zombie saga had an ensemble cast, and all kinds of characters you fell in love with but at the heart of it all was Andrew Lincoln’s former sheriff, waking from a coma to a world overrun with flesh-chomping ghouls. Bummer. Then, in Season 9, he bowed out of the show, only to briefly to return in the series finale, alluding to his whereabouts. Five years after John Lennon’s death, his family members could hardly believe a television program about his life. While some of his family members had problems with him in his life, they all agreed that the program John Lennon: A Journey in the Life did not capture him well. Here are the problems they had with the film.
John Lennon’s family was not happy about a program about his life
In 1985, the documentary John Lennon: A Journey in the Life aired. Per TV Guide, the film relied on interviews and documentary footage as well as dramatizations.
“In December 1985, in its Everyman series, BBC Television transmitted John Lennon: A Journey in the Life,” Ray Coleman wrote in his book Lennon: The Definitive Biography. “The role of John was taken by Bernard Hill, to whom Lennon had sent a good luck telegram when Hill had starred in an excellent London stage production called John,...

When Mark Hamill set off to start filming "The Machine," he announced it in a video on Twitter, in which he claimed that he "might already regret this." Well, the movie arrived in 2023, and unfortunately, the box office and critical response pretty much proved Hamill right to be hesitant, even if he was only joking.
"The Machine" made a global total of $10.6 million on a budget of $20 million. Even worse were the reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes summarizing the film as "a sloppily lifeless movie," and "broken beyond repair." Poor old "Big fat Bert," as his "2 Bears 1 Cave" co-host Tom Segura lovingly calls him. He's just trying to spread some joy.
Rolling Stone referred to Kreischer as the "top partyer at the Number One Party School in the country" in their 1997 profile, and you might be surprised to hear that he originally had his life adapted to the big...

There’s never been a creative artist quite like Jim Henson. The Mississippi-born Henson was arguably the world’s most famous puppeteer, but he was much more than that. A cartoonist, actor, inventor, animator, writer and filmmaker, Henson was in a class by himself, whether his work appeared in films or on television. In addition, Henson founded the enormously successful Jim Henson Company, an entertainment mainstay that has lived on to produce family entertainment long after Henson’s untimely death in 1990.
After Henson got his start at age 18 creating puppets for a local station in Washington, D.C., he was approached by the Children’s Television Workshop to help develop a new series for PBS, “Sesame Street.” Soon kids around the world were marveling at the antics of Big Bird and his friends, and the show’s success led Henson to expand his Muppet empire with such further successful series...

What a nailbiter!
One could envision a wildfire hitting Virgin River would be intense beyond measure, bringing all sorts of panic, drama, and heroic moments.
And Virgin River Season 5 Episode 5 didn't fall short on that in the least, with a gripping installment ending in a cliffhanger with a girl on the edge of her seat.
Wildfires are terrifying, and we've unfortunately seen how destructive they can be far more frequently these days, so the notion of one touching down on the fictional ground of Virgin River elicited so many feelings.
As expected, heroes emerged, and the community is coming together in a way one anticipates.
The entire hour is devoted to the increasing danger of a fire spreading and destroying everything we love and hold dear about this small town.
A sense of urgency builds throughout the hour, as it starts with a casual awareness and caution about the fire,...

Warning: contains spoilers for Mad Men season four.
Everything about Ida Blankenship is a punchline. From the spilt Scrabble tiles clatter of her name, to her gravelly voice and chewed-on Brooklyn vowels, to the old lady wig and post-cataract lenses used to age up and disguise the glamour of actor Randee Heller, the Mad Men character exists purely as a gag. A relatively rare one, in a show mostly fixated on existential emptiness.
The point of Miss Blankenship when she finally appears as comic relief in season four is that she’s not sexually desirable. Ad company office manager Joan billets her at Don Draper’s desk after he’s used up and discarded another in a long line of nubile young secretaries. The braying old woman’s a failsafe; she’s the bromide in Don’s coffee.

In May, the streaming service provider revealed Virgin River will return for a sixth season. There is a logical reason why the company is so committed to continuing Mel Monroe’s story.

Given enough time, the horror genre subsumes all the trappings of childhood. It has long since claimed dolls, clowns, and Chuck E. Cheese animatronics as its own. Now, in brother developers John and Evan Szymanski’s first-person survival horror game My Friendly Neighborhood, the genre comes for Muppets in tongue-in-cheek fashion.
As a repairman named, natch, Gordon, you arrive at a TV studio that was once the headquarters of the titular Saturday-morning puppet show. The antenna on top of the abandoned studio has mysteriously begun to broadcast reruns, and it’s up to Gordon to disable the device. What he finds, though, is a place that’s far from empty. At the front desk, a sock puppet moves and speaks to him of its own accord, and in the rest of the studio, he encounters the canceled TV program’s colorful cast of much larger puppets who all chase him down on sight.

While The Beatles split in 1970, the Liverpool band’s influence has lasted for generations. Many fantastic musicians emerged who fused the band’s impressive songwriting and instrumentals into their own work. Brian May considered George Harrison an inspiration for his guitar ability. He only met the former Beatle once but considered it a “precious moment” of his life.
Brian May recalled the one and only time he met George Harrison
In 2001, Harrison was terminally ill due to a lengthy cancer battle. Before his death in November of that year, May reflected on Harrison’s legacy and shared the one time he met him. In an interview with Guitarist Magazine, May said he had the lucky opportunity to perform with the “Something” singer at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London for the Water Rats Ball.
“I’ve only met George once,” Harrison said. “We played together at a Water Rats do,...

Bert Kreischer is living proof that truth is stranger than fiction.
In the mid-’90s, Kreischer went on a Florida State class trip to Russia, and to make a long story short, the Russian mafia forced the 22-year-old college kid to rob a passenger train that included his classmates. The Florida native somehow made it out of Russia unscathed, and after enough time had passed, he began telling the story on radio shows and podcasts until it became the focus of his viral stand-up comedy special, The Machine, in 2016. A few years later, Kreischer sold a movie version of The Machine to Legendary Entertainment’s Cale Boyter, who boiled the indirect pitch down to “The Godfather Part II meets The Hangover.”
The film’s premise revolves around Bert and his father, Albert (Mark Hamill), getting kidnapped by a Russian gangster (Iva Babić) as a form of payback for Bert stealing...

Frank Oz is a man of many memorable voices. As Jim Henson's closest collaborator and most trusted Muppeteer, Oz helped shape our childhoods by providing the voices of, among others, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Bert, Grover, Animal, and Cookie Monster. What's perhaps most amazing about his work is how, when you hear him speak in his own voice, you can close your eyes and hear notes of just about every character he originated. He was every bit as virtuosic as Henson in this regard, but it's possible he went on to do his most indelible work outside of his partner's workshop.
Yoda is a miracle. He's a hunched, pea green, 2'2" Jedi master who's cackling like an imp one moment and dispensing the most profound spiritual advice the next. When Luke Skywalker first encounters him in "Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back," he can't believe this...

Bert Kreischer has told the story so many times that he almost seems surprised that you want to hear it again. Almost.
It’s not like it’s the Greatest Story Ever Told — it’s just a strong contender for the greatest story Kreischer has ever told, which is saying something. As a stand-up comic who sells out arenas and organizes annual summer tours with his famous friends, has a handful of popular specials on Netflix and a podcast presence to die for, who’s known for ripping his shirt...

(L to R) Albert (Mark Hamill) and Bert (Bert Kreischer) in Screen Gems. The Machine. If you follow Mark Hamill on social media, you know the man can have a wicked sense of humor. And though he is best known for his more serious roles — like, for example, Luke Skywalker — Hamill has poked fun at himself while guest-starring on comedies like The Big Bang Theory, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Just Shoot Me. Hamill, whose latest role is in the action-driven comedy The Machine, told says he finds comedy relatively easy to do because he takes an agnostic approach to acting in general.
